.Went into Orloff Jewelers about a two years ago after seeing commercials about his interest in buying good quality jewelry ....My mom had died a few years back and had left me some diamond and gold jewelry..... one piece was a tennis bracelet with sizable diamonds .... it came with a proof of assessment of value and the original price tags and codes..... my mother purchased it from the estate jewelry dept. at Macys in Monterey CA... My parents had been educators there prior to passing for over 28 years.... I remember my mother saving for quite a while to buy the piece ... for a teacher it took quite a while to earn the funds... well long story short I got the feeling he did not like doing business with people like me and after walking pass me several times, ignoring me and helping another customer that had entered after me… he came over to let me know he had no interest in my jewelry and that he felt it was not of significant value , he seem to have decided this based on my looks …. he did a lot of talk about his affiliations with the school district and the district’s Superintendent, touched the piece I brought in for about a minute or two and handed it back to me …. I watched his eyes as he looked at the object and it was clear he was not looking at it at all…. He handed it back to me and I left … I really don’t think that if I had held the Hope Diamond he would have purchased from me … I am a Black female educator who had to stop working due to a disability…. This did not surprise me in Fresno CA… it was a surprise to experience it from someone so heavily involved with the school district …. Maybe it was just a bad day for him …..If you have been treated the same please review this business and let others know.

The staff remembers all of the people that come in and out of the store, and James, the owner/jeweler, is really concerned that every customer knows exactly what they are buying. What most impessed me about this store is that they will spend mounds of time with non-customers. I witnessed twice now, a person who purchased an egagement ring from another store coming in to ask James about the quality of the diamond and the mounting and James assured the client that the ring they purchased was good quality and a decent price. He actually sat with this non-customer for 20 minutes and explained to him cut and clarity and showed him why his ring was good!! The moto of this store should be quality and customer service over everything. That is their priority and it shines through. I would highly recommend this store to anyone, especially those who are weary of jewelers. Everyone is amazing at this store!

I walked into Orloff Jewelers with very little experience when it comes to jewelry. I was immediately greeted by Melodie who was very welcoming and professional. She assisted me in finding the perfect engagement ring for my fiance. She made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and there was absolutely no pressure when it came to picking what I wanted. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable, all my questions were answered! I was offered water during my visit and found all the staff to be very hospitable. I felt so comfortable I even asked a male employee what he thought of the ring I had chosen. I highly recommend this jeweler to anyone in the market for something sparkly! I will absolutely return for all my future needs! Great job Orloff Jewelers!

James Orloff is not running a trustworthy, ethical business. He was totally rude, talked about competitors is such derogatory terms even I was offended! There is no excuse for this behavior. As a customer I should be treated with respect. I will never return to that crooks place of business!

A great place to buy wedding rings. I love my D. Yurman forged carbon ring. Thanks to James Orloff and his team!
