So normally I dont have a problem at the store, and I dont normally like to write bad reviews. However, because of my last experience I feel this employee should get some recognition on how attitude. Ms. Haydee (I didnt get a last name) gave me an ugly attitude the moment she noticed I had win coupons. I understand it can be a hassle however, I was only paying for fruit with the coupons. From the moment I walked to up to the moment I left she had the worst attitude and when I asked her name (because the name tag was flipped over) she flipped it smacked it and said haydee. There was no need at all to be ugly. I hadnt done a thing to her until I realized I signed my coupons wrong, I used my maiden name rather than married name--common mistake with newly weds-- anyhow because my husband was there I told her he could sign it but she wasnt having it until finally she gave up and just said FINE! Anyhow. After all that she is the reason I gave the store 2 stars. Remember as an employee you are the face of the company and how you treat a PAYING customer (we did spend over 50$ aside from the wic coupons which is considered money) is a reflection of the store. This happened Friday night July 23rd, 2016 between 9:30-9:45pm

I just left there and had the worst experience. As I was walking out pushing my cart with groceries someone dropped their avocado salsa and left it there. So here I come and step into it. Luckily I held myself from falling because I was holding the cart. But when my husband walked into the store to ask for something to clean myself the manager at the time Elizabeth (short, heavy set, and wore glasses) gave my husband a roll that had literally one towel. Of course that wasnt enough. He had to walk back in and ask for more. Luckily the very nice guy who came out quickly helped me clean up. Too bad the staff meaning the manager was not attentive or considerate towards the situation. She even assumed it was us who dropped the salsa. I hope that is not a reflection of the higher up staff because I felt terrible. Never again will I shop there and I will not recommend it.

This is the newest market in El Monte, less than a year ago was a Edward Theater actually. They open this market quite fast and was one of the first store to open in this new plaza together with Petco. Everything here is new included the shopping cart. The stuff they sell is kinda like food 4 less and nortgate combine. They has some good deal here, probably due to opening promotion. There was pretty of checkout line even at late night hours, which is good. Hope they keep it that way. I hate when most market only keep 1 or 2 cashier at night.

Just recently opened this past year, Superior Grocers offers a clean and cheap grocery store to north El Monte. They have a ton of produce and products. It is definitely a Mexican influenced market so dont go expecting to find everything. They also have a huge bakery and deli area that you can pick up prepared food. A great and clean market for the area.

It was pleasant. I found everything I needed, in a timely manner. When I couldnt find what I needed, someone was able to help me. The cashier too, was very nice. It was crowded though. Probably due to the time I got there. (4:30pm) Parking lot was full also. Would I go back to that store...absolutely.

Very clean new store, purchased boxed cake mix that was (infested with baby roaches.) More than likely a Superior distribution center or warehouse issue as this store and entire shopping center is brand new and did not seem to be a likely source of the bugs.

This is a newer supermarket in my neighborhood. The prices are reasonable and this place is huge! They stock many many different alcoholic beverages at a reasonable price. The meats and veggies are fresh.

I cone here often when they have very good sales. Its clean and their hot foods are good. Usually buy the Carnitas, half roasted chicken, and salsa. Their pastries are good too.
