Verizon location near El Cerrito plaza has unprofessional counseling, hidden charges and sketchy sales reps. I replaced my broken phone with a brand-new smart-phone. The final price after all fees was twice more expensive then on-line but I paid it because was in a hurry. Sales person promised a $50 rebate, that required a lot of my time on a phone and was never approved. It turns out that the phone receipt I got was for another device of different color that was marked as "returned back" in Verizon database. I think that the sales person just replaced phones in the box, then returned the original one and got couple hundreds of dollars. I also think that it may happen frequently, and these sales guys make some extra cash this way.

Worst ever. Gave me two replacement phones and got it wrong twice. First group of people that helped me were cool. Second dude just didnt care. Didnt get anything in return for their screw up. Never going back here again. I cant wait to leave my Verizon contract. How do you mix up a galaxy s3 with a galaxy nexus. Terrible!!!

I brought in a nearly new phone with a bad battery connection (a known problem for the model). The representative there noticed some corrosion on the battery terminal and, without telling me, put a note on my account that it had "extensive water damage," which voids my warranty.
