Customer Service has definitely fallen in the streets. I have been a faithful customer of UPS El Cerrito Plaza for 5+years and Wednesday Sept 18th I received the worst service ever. When I went to the store inquiring on what happened to my cards that I needed for an important business meeting and had them specially shipped express mail. I explained all this to the manager how mandatory it was for me to locate these cards and the overall seriousness of matter. The response I received from the onsite store manager Sanford was a total shred to my integrity he responded "first of all you need to stop talking to me like someone off the street", this statement left me the customer very perplexed and even offended; how a manager someone that is should specialize in customer service was able to speak to me in this manner was far beyond my understanding. He then realized and that it was he himself who had signed for the package and forgot to log it into the system which is something he should have never told me especially since he didnt care enough to attempt to accommodate me for this huge inconvenience. When I finally was able to get him to realize he dropped the ball and was at total fault in the matter; he went on to tell me he would only accommodate me if I brought in the invoice of the item he didnt take the time to log into the system. This caused even more hardship for me not only were my cards lost and I was completely stressed out about my meeting but I was now put in a position to make all these calls and jump through hurdles to contact my graphic designer who lives a very busy life as well, and the person who handles my accounts. So that we could re-order my special designed business cards which of course meant more fees on his end just to have this service done again, and stop in the middle of his day filled with clients to assist me. After being there 3 hours I finally decided to come back in the morning first thing since they were closing. At this point I was giving Sanford the on-site manager more customer service and consideration then he had showed me. When returning his staff was just as rude as he had been, like manager like staff. When Sanford the on-site manager at UPS came in that morning he begin to yell at me telling me I man handled his staff and I would want to stop talking to him like some girl off the street. This inadequate excuse for a manager insulted my character far to many times and he was the one who didnt do his job accordingly, his lack of customer service and consideration is why I am now looking for another place to have my mail sent. Sanford was by far thee most unprofessional manager I have ever encountered, I have no desire to ever return to this store again.

i was there yesterday morning to print my photo and before i went there i had call this store and had asked them, i have a photo in my USB drive which has to be printed on passport size can u guys do that and the lady on the phone reply yes. so i went on morning after returning from my long night shift work, there was this guy with tattoos on his hand and i told him i am here to print a photo which i have in my usb drive then he pointed me towards the computer and as i didnt find the option to click on which would let me print passport size i asked him what to click then he tried here and there but couldnt find.we then thought of trying with the size which was available but the machine was not printing and when i asked him, he told me the machine was warming up. i waited almost 20 min but no it wasnt still printing and when i went see on the machine it was saying NO PAPER. he then adjusted the paper tray and i asked him lets print this photo on full paper size and take a picture from your camera of the full paper size photo so that u could print passport size on the small machine which can only be connected to his camera but still no the printer wasnt printing. he made me wait another 20 min and when he find out the printer was still saying no paper he call the manager who was laying around and when she came, instead of looking on my problem she went on taking other costumer which could have been handled by the guy and when i asked her as the costumer leave mam can u check whats the problem she told me one moment. and went on taking another costumer and then she finished making me wait another 15 min and do u know what she did ? she didnt even touch anything neither the computer nor the printer and told me there must be some problem with printer i need to call the service guy and the other tatto guy was repeating ya call the service guy . i just couldnt believe what i went through and there was nothing i could tell them other than thank you ! why did they gave me wrong information in the first place and does one need 55 min to say the printer is not working ? OMG m not going there any more and i will not recommend my family and friends to go there.

Best shipping in town! They have given me excellent customer service every time I have been there in the past year. I am really surprised they have any bad ratings. I do shipping at least a few times a month and always come here because they are the most helpful. The lines are usually fairly short in the morning but around lunch time and in the late afternoon, they can get really busy (or have customers that have idea how to ship a package so they take longer.) They are willing to go above and beyond. They are very friendly! The people that work there dont seem to be the types to just punch in and punch out, they seem to understand they are dealing with peoples valuables and their livelihood when they accept a package.

i found the staff to be prompt, efficient and very friendly. When I first entered the store, I saw a church member of mine being assisted by an employee, by the name of LaNise and when I went to the counter to drop off my package I was greeted promptly by another employee, whose name is Leona. After reading some of the review for this particular UPS store, I was a little reluctant but contrary to what I read, I am very happy to say that these two young ladies made my experience a very pleasant one and because Id this experience, I do intend to use this UPS store for all my future business....!!!

the service is good in the past years but not today. they refuse to accept my packages because they have limited space although they do have in the back. they said they need to keep the places for other customers. i have been with the office for 5 years, but not in the future.

GO SOMEWHERE SO THAT YOU MAY NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME... They just know how to say NO without even trying or spending some effort in reading or understanding what is the matter/problem. THIS SHOULD BE NEGATIVE 100 STARS!!!!!!!
