I sold some books to this place, and their purchase offers for books are a complete ripoff. I received pennies on the dollars that I originally spent for books in very good and excellent conditions. Also, the girl explained to me that the bookstore is a "business" so it has to rip off its customers. Well, I am not selling books as a charity, which she seemed to think I was. If I want to give away my books, then I will find a real charity to give them to. The bookstore may be a business, but I am in business too, and the offer was a pittance. The worker offered the couple ahead of me in line only $2 for 30+ books that looked to be in good condition. They rejected the $2 and walked out with their books!!!!

They have a ton of books at great prices (hence the name). Some of their merchandise tends to be a bit too religious-y such as bible character dolls, action figures, etc. Their religious book section is pretty big and I had to search for quite awhile to find the few atheism related books they had. Dont bother looking for a dedicated section labeled "atheism" because it doesnt exist. Besides this, though, its a pretty good place to look for books.

I was in process of buying a couple books, when I realized that the loud mouth that had proceeded me into the store worked there. I would have overlooked it the first time, but when he continued to yell at various employees I decided I just didnt need my books that badly. At first I thought he was joking around with one employee, but when I saw him doing pretty much the same thing a couple of others, I made my choice.

This is a great place to find some classic board games and those older movies that you might be missing from your collection. They also, obviously, have a large collection of books and comics which are priced quite well. I wish trade-in values were a bit better but the staff is very nice and helpful.

Books for any one, New or used and audio books also. I went to get some early ready books for my grandchildren and they had a great selection. Plan on spending some time just to browse. They also buy used books and audio books, and I was told they have a buyer there full time.

Vast selection of books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, records, old video games/consoles, etc. kind of like Boarders Books (discontinued) except without the food place. Cant complain too much about the prices either, especially for the old game consoles.

Our absolute favorite bookstore in the area (and frankly in most areas!). Always reasonably priced, killer selection (books, DVDs, audiobooks, and lots of other random goodies), and friendly staff. Keep stores like this open!

Never carry a basket or else you will buy way too many books. I only let myself buy what I can carry, which is usually about 4 or 5 books. Thats how I know its time to leave. The selection here always amazes me.

Lots of books and the prices are good. The place feels quite generic, but thats what happens when youre part of a chain, I suppose. Still, there are plenty of interesting books if you look around a bit.

Ive been to all of the Half Price Books in the bay area and this one is my favorite. They have a huge selection and the store is clean and spacious. Each time I visit I leave with at least 3-5 books.

Browsing in Dublins Half Price Books is a pleasure. Each time i visit, i find several books and at great prices. KHsu112, a cashier gives Excellent service, Knowledgeable and Friendly.

Generally great selection of books across different categories. The comics section isnt quite as worthwhile as some of the other locations (such as Berkeley) but otherwise, great store.

Bigger than the one in Fremont! They also have a fair selection of BluRays, CDs, and video games. Actually, its more fun to browse here than at the local B&N.
