It wasnt this location, but Big 5 uses a check verification service, Certegy, that provides bogus information. Ive looked them up and have to wonder about any business establishment that chooses to partner with Certegy. Their shady practices are well documented online. It almost seems as if they want to decline customers randomly just to give the appearance a client is getting their moneys worth by subscribing to their services. BEWARE OF ANY BUSINESS THAT USES CERTEGY. The FTC didnt slam them with a $3,000,000 fine in August 2013 for nothing!!

Just started coming here this year. They have always had everything I needed. Well stocked. Staff is okay but not rude. They always seem very busy or worried. I wonder if they will be going the way of Sports Chalet.
