Since CVS took over this pharmacy, I have had nothing but problems. I am on the same medication every month, and for four months in a row, this pharmacy has dispensed the incorrect medication to me, or has called to let me know my prescription is ready when they dont even have the correct medication in stock. Today, when I told the pharmacist that I had lost confidence in his pharmacy and would no longer be using it or recommending it for my patients prescriptions, he told me that I was unprofessional because I told him aloud, in earshot of other customers. First of all, it is their REPEATED mistake that has caused me to lose confidence. Secondly, he did not even come out from behind his counter in the rear of the pharmacy during our conversation until it was concluded, so if I wanted to express my opinion to him, that was the only way I could. He insisted that it is not their fault, it is the fault of the computer system. Im sorry, if the computer system is responsible for making you dispense the incorrect medication (4 TIMES!!) wouldnt you, as a pharmacist, be taking steps to make sure that this wouldnt happen again instead of lecturing your customers when they are frustrated with repeated medical mistakes?

A terrible loss for Davis as CVS has taken over the pharmacy. No info regarding the transfer of ownership was sent to customers by either Target or CVS. No notice regarding loss of $4. Generic drug program, and most other prescriptions are no longer discounted. Staff are not interested in helping customers continue maintenance meds. After my Sutter Clinic MD sent in my reauthorization for MS Contin Friday, I was called by a pharmacy clerk Saturday (before Memorial Weekend holiday) and told they would not fill my prescription I have filled there for 3 years, to contact my doctor to fax my regular prescription to another pharmacy because it could not be ordered due to not having a pharmacist-in-charge to re-order stock. As a retired clinical pharmacist I know that a pharmacist-in-charge is required by the board of pharmacy. The former pharmacist-in-charge, Kathleen Vu, always made sure chronic medications for regular customers were in stock. Now I can only hope my email to my physician will be read and acted upon before I run out and go into withdrawal. Outrageous and unprofessional.

They keep saying they are not allowed to check if my meds are gluten-free or not, and that it shouldnt be that big an issue, when as someone with celiac, I need my medication to be gluten-free. They would also not give me the info I needed to call and ask for myself. Refills that I have gotten texts about being ready often need several more days to be actually ready, leading to wasted trips. Service has declined a lot since CVS took over.

I agree that service has declined horribly. The folks are nice enough, but refills are chaotic, as are the lines in the store. Plus there are rules that say items purchased at the register cant be returned, meaning two separate trips to buy prescriptions and any other item that might need to be returned.

Had a rocky transition from being a Target pharmacy to CVS. But Ive received nothing but excellent service since then.
