Ive been a Home Depot customer for 15 years and have excellent experiences the entire time. Recently, we ordered an appliance Online. Its important to note here that the return policy for appliances is very vague, and at the time I ordered it, I was not a aware that appliances were NON RETURNABLE. Unfortunately for me, I realized this after I ordered and took delivery, only to find that the stove didnt fit. So, as anyone would naturally do, I brought the stove back to the store expecting no problems with the return. To my dismay, I was made aware of the policy, so begrudgingly I trudged back home, stove and all. About an hour later I received a call from the stores assistant manager Mr. Perez, letting me know that he would in fact return the stove and try to resell it. Apparently, when customers buy appliances Online through home depot , the manufacture ships directly to the customer and does not accept returns whatsoever if the customer wants to return it. This means that Home depot just bought a $1500 stove to save the customer from being stuck with a stove that wont fit. Not only am I grateful for what Mr. Perez did by taking the stove back and saving me a considerable amount, but as a small business owner, it served as a reminder of what it is like to be a the customers shoes when things go wrong. A big thank you to Home depot and the outstanding customer service from Mr. Perez!

On Tuesday of this week, I purchased a new toilet from Home Depot, Cypress, Ca. and I was promised installation within 2 to 3 days. I picked up the toilet on Wednesday and still waiting to have the installation done. When I contacted Home Depot on Saturday, customer service personnel assured me that the installer would be calling soon. I did receive the call today from the installer and was told that the installation could be done until next Thursday. The installer stated that Home Depot had failed to communicate my request to them until today. I immediately called Home Depot and asked to speak with the Store Manager or the Assistant Store Manager. I was told that the Store Manager had just left for the day and my call was transferred to the Assistant Store Manager who promised me that he would contact the installer for an earlier installation date and that he would call be back with-in 30 minutes. It is late Saturday evening and I have yet to receive any form of communication from Home Depot. THIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL.

The so-called Pro Desk is a joke. Have not met a "pro" in the bunch. Arrogant, condescending, ignorant, irresponsible ... nothing that goes wrong at their end is ever their fault, its the driver, or the person who picked the order for delivery, or another store. When I go in for small job orders I usually get the run around because I am only spending a few hundred dollars. They dont stop to think that I may be spending a few hundred this time but next time it will be a few thousand. After several screw-ups on products, late or missed deliveries, short orders, un-returned phone calls, and one "pro" telling me its not his problem the order he put in was wrong I blew them off for Lowes on $30,000 in materials to rehab one of my rental properties. If you know what you want going in (some bags of cement, sheet rock, tile, plants, tools, etc) then its not a problem. But do a special order, set up a delivery, make a return, try to get someone to bring merchandise down with a forklift ... forget about it.

The absolute best reason to go to the Cypress Home Depot; as opposed to any other Home Depot, Lowes, or any other home store, is Tim in the hardware department. Tim has gone out of his way to provide me the best service imaginable on multiple occasions. Consistently over the last several years. Tim has saved me tons of money by offering his expertise and suggestions. If I need specific solutions Ill call the store in advance just to see if Tim is working; then Ill go in. Tim is the best asset any of the Orange County Home Depots has. Thank you Tim for your excellent customer service for the last several years since I discovered you there. Thank you.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful at this store. Joey, Supervisor of Lumber, went above and beyond. I needed a cross and stand for it built, so I went into the store to inquire about materials, how to ideas, and pricing. He offered to do it for me, used scrap wood to make it, and painted it the darker wood color I preferred (his associate, Mario, helped with this). I only had to buy the tree stand and bring it in. He calls it "paying it forward"; I call him a gem of a human being. This kind of service is so rare these days. This is the type of place you want to take your business to...to people who care about people and not just money.

Been going here since it opened. I was in the customor service section with my kids today. A man named Josh was there (I think his name was Josh, he had his name tag on backward). When I walked up to him he put a phone to his ear (He told someone to do go backs, so Im pretty sure he wasnt waiting on hold). He didnt say a word to me. I didnt know if I should stand there or go the one other cashier. Before I could go to another line he grabbed the product from my hand, didnt say a word. Next he issued me a cash refund, handed me the money didnt say a word. I said "thank you and my kids and I walked away.

terrible experience, my father in law try to buy staffs for garden, park there early morning and saw a swap meet next street, he went check the place out and wend back to Home depot made purchase. found his car towed. We check with store manager on duty, he told us as soon as you walk out store property, home depot has right to dispatching tow truck and authorized the tow. i have never experienced anything like this, he may or may not has right, but it put a very bad taste and experience for shop at home depot

This store and the people who work here are awful. I find the item on line says they have 12, no one can find them. Go to the service desk where there are 6 people, not one can figure it out with a sku and map provided. Website says a particular bin, service desk cant help, they call garden twice, then wander away. Really? Is it that hard to find your product with your sku and your store map? Lost a customer for good. Store has been going down hill for years.

I have been their customer for over 10 years. They are helpful, professional and nice. But the most important thing is they trust their customers. I recently bought a bottle of wasp killer. After I paid it, I forgot it somewhere in the parking lot. When I came back, they simply gave me another one without questioning my credibility. In such "now-a-day" society, It really touched me that they still put a trust assumption on people at the first place.
