I am a do it yourself home improver doing my work at a piece meal basis. Over the years, my purchases had accumulated for the good amount of materials I needed for home improvement. On February 7, 2014, I received a personal letter from their manager promising a "$300 off " on my next purchase, "because I earned points." IT IS $300 OFF and any which way you read the coupon JUST SIMPLY MEANS $300 OFF. Now, being excitable, I went ahead and used the coupon but I over limited ending up with $97 more. The manager on the counter told me "congratulations, see, you will only pay $97.00 because you have this coupon!" Sadly, to my dismay, the $397 was eventually charged in my credit card. When I clarified by phone and by person, the managers had lame explanations. It was wrongly worded by the corporate office (the letter was personally signed by the Pomona manager) that it really means "I need to purchase $3,000.00 so that I can avail of the $300.00!" How deceptive can this get! Thankfully, I took a photo of the "$300.00 OFF letter-coupon" which showed every letter, comma and exclamation point of the document that I can use to complain to authorities for this deceptive business practice. Regardless of ones English comprehension, this false coupon promised something that the company cant back up with true action. In Espanol, I think they say it is devoid of "Palabra de Honor." NO WORD OF HONOR. Shame.

If I could give this place a 1/2 star I would. Horrible customer service and lazy workers. We were completely ignored while in the store. My mother is remodeling her restroom. She was looking for a vanity set. She really like a vanity set she saw. She waited and waited and no one helped her. So she sought for assistance . There were several workers doing nothing. No one was willing to help. Then when someone finally helped they had attitude. After buying a vanity set the rude lady at the cashier told us to wait outside; someone was going to bring the vanity to our car.We waited and waited. Again we were like what the heck. Then we were told we needed to sign a waiver to get help. We were thinking is this a joke. Again we waited and waited. No one came to help us to load. We ended up loading it ourselves. We would never recommend this place. Customer services is horrible. Go somewhere else.

First of all unlike Lowes they actually HAVE employees to help you out and unlike Home Depot they have employees that are WILLING to help, and ACTUALLY OFFER TO HELP, even load your truck!! What, customer service in 2011??!! I know! Amazed to find that somone still cares about their customers. Also, huge plus, a drive through lumber yard, you dont have to load up a freaking shopping cart with 2x4s and drywall and stand in line with your train of supplies then load it in your truck by yourself... you just load it right into your truck from their yard! Amazing idea. I drive right past 2 Home Depots and a Lowes to go here, way worth it.

This place is a joke!!! I went in to purchase a sliding door.. when I went to pay for it the girl told me it was sold already they had not pulled it yet for another customer.. I went on to pick another door pay for it and put in for pick up later by the contractor, she told me them only do one day holds.. I explained to her that 6 days ago I bought a door and put it for later pick by the contractor and I had no problems.. she told me they changed there policies a few days ago.. What a joke this place is, customer service SUCKS these employees need to be trained to work with the public..

First time I used this store. I thought I was going to be impress. If you plan to order custom materials or supplies, I suggest not to go here. They have unreliable manufacturers. I understand that its out of HD supplies hands but you are vouching for those manufactures to be reliable. If the manufacturers dont deliver or meet your customers standards then that will fallback to you. Anyway, I DONT RECOMMEND CUSTOM ORDERS AT THIS STORE only get ready made or out of the box materials.

This place is terrible. Customer service is almost non-existent. Everyone working here looks like theyre 18 and they dont know much about home improvement. Ive asked about things and they have no idea what Im talking about. Its almost impossible to find someone to help you too. Avoid this place! Spend your time and money at Home Depot or Lowes instead.

Anyone can complain about anything. Best prices in socal. Being in Real Estate I know the most important thing, Cost Effectiveness. HD usually beats out competitor prices, unless your me and know all the good spots. Still its hard to find better pricing elsewhere. The nice quarterly rebate checks are nice!

They will not accept the item return without receipt or credit after purchased for 2 weeks. When you shop at this store you are on your own, no assistant, even you found the assistant they cant help either - No knowledge in construction materials & technical support.

The staff at HD Supply is super helpful and approachable! I love coming to this place to get simplified answers to basic home repair questions... And theyhave EVERYTHING... and most of the time up to $1 cheaper the Home Depot. So yea... They got my vote.
