Skilfully prepared, fine-dining quality meal, complete with incredible premium meat, without any of the pretentious trappings! At first glance, youre a little unsure on what to expect, but as you explore the selections, you quickly realize the level of sophistication in all of their offerings. Start off with their cheese platter and include that creamy brie that simply melts along with their selection of delicious local craft brews. The roasted vegetable plate came with three amazing different types of beets - seriously, they rock! The crispy chicken sandwich doesnt look like the picture (not that there is one) but one bite and it doesnt matter - simply scrumptious! Then comes the steak - perfectly seared and finished, tender and flavorful - running out of adjectives, cant wait to get another one! Definitely a new local favorite - ditch the grandiloquent restaurants and settle in for a truly delectable, choice meal!

Fine fish and meat to purchase and make at home, but unlikely to eat in- house again. Brunch food was brutally overseasoned on all counts and meat was sadly well done when ordered medium. The spice and salt overkill on meat and side dishes left nowhere for the palate to find relief. The "tater tots" were not good--overspiced, not crispy, just rolled up ball of hash browns. Yummy Brussels sprouts but again, totally palate bomb over the top bacon/balsamic/cheese and heavily salty. Good quality ingredients dont need to be masked with over-the-top fat, salt, sand spice. With a little balance and a lot more respect for ingredients, this place could be great, but right now it kind of seems conceptualized by someone who wants to turn good food into the monstrosities we see in fast food chains where every possible add-on is in there and the result was practically inedible. we left a lot on our plates, sad for the price tag.

Its a quick serve location with limited seating. We received our food and had no table to eat it at. The meat is served individually so every side is an addition. The water cups a renewal cups with the paint chipped. There was rust in my water cup. Restaurant smells like a fish market with the holding counter taking up most of the location. Our food was on par with black Angus as far as flavor. Served warm but lacking anything worth what they charge. I would pass unless you like overly marketed terms and labels on our produce. Items are priced far above what I would call reasonable.

Lunch: the sandwiches are substantial in size, enough for 2 smaller adults, and the meat is good, but nothing special. Not a particularly good value. The fries are better than a fast food restaurant, but not outstanding like at some other Claremont village establishments. And at nearly $40 per lb for ribeye, others will have to evaluate the flavor of the meat. Very loud, not fast with service when moderately busy, choices of beers are limited and wines are overpriced unless one does not leave a tip. Interesting interior.

Very nice addition to Claremont. The food was fresh and tasty. Obviously people like different things and it may take a few visits to narrow down menus items, but rest assured, you will. We ordered a steak sandwich and halibut tacos. Both were good, but we look forward a few other items we spotted on the menu. Their guacamole was INSANE! Very flavorful and worth ordering as take out, as well. A cute little shop of wine and goodies diversifies the atmosphere and the staff was helpful. Try it out :-)

I had high hopes for this spot. But was let down... $21 for a sandwich, fries and a beer. Then with only 12 other people in the establishment I waited 30 minutes for my food. Now if the sandwich rocked my world... This would be a different review. But it was super greasy for a chicken sandwich. I wont be returning to the meat cellar.

Friendly service. The poutine without the short ribs was delicious, a little salty. I mean, theres cheese and gravy in there along w something else... duck fat? Its supposed to be a little salty. We also got the dry aged tomahawk rib eye, sea bass, roasted vegetables, mixed greens. Id like to go back and try a burger.

Carne Asada meat quality was poor. Meat arrived chewy. Mashed potatoes arrived cold and had too much garlic in them. Wait about 30 minute before order came out

Best place to eat in Claremont. Their burguers are unforgettable, their sandwiches life changing, not to mention a good tomahawk steak. A must go place.
