Of all the people I know, I think I have to be the best cook of anyone. I am not bragging, its just a fact. I have always gone to local fish markets whenever I serve fish because I want the freshest and best tasting fish. But when it comes to meat, for some reason I can never accept paying $30 per pound for Filet Mignon. Well... I was wrong. I just had my first steak from The Meat House, a very nice filet, and after grilling it on a very hot grill and then letting it rest for about 10 minutes, it melted in my mouth. I ended up paying about $16 for a piece of meat I may have paid $40+ at Capital Grille. I will never get my filet anywhere else. Once you find perfection, why bother going anywhere else. WOW!

whatever they dont have, they can get! ive gotten squab, rabbit, and youve GOT to try the pizza in a chicken. its pizza. in a boneless chicken, all tied up with twine. 30 min in the oven and OMFG. also, their bacon and refillable balsamic vinegar are to die for. give it a try, and its right next to the best farmers marked in town, so you can get those potatoes and onions. go go gadget meat!

Not a real butcher shop, just a fancy version of the grocery store meat counter. This sort of place gets meat shipped to them largely pre-broken down. They might do some minor cutting but thats it. Decent looking meat, and the staff was nice, but not what I was looking for. Good selection of beer, though.

While the meats are a bit on the high side, you do get what you pay for. I usually get the cowboy rib eyes and or the Tenderloin brochettes. They are both amazing and worth it! They even have a great selection of ages cheeses...If I am ever forced to have a last mean, this is where I am ordering it.

The best gosh darn meats in town! I have tried other sources, some people have recommended other butcheries, however, this place gets their meats from SoCal ranches, much more fresh than say, Midwest or even Colorado.

Best meat in OC. I drive from San Juan for the tri tip and quality cuts, but the marinated meats are the best. Highly higly recommended butcher from a self claimed BBQ master.

Meat has great seasoning and the taste makes this place my home butcher! Many of the food items and wine bottles dont have prices on them. Inconvenient.
