When I first went to ECO I did feel that prices were high but once I understood their pricing process I absolutely totally disagree with the comments left below. Those thrifters simply do not understand the process at ECO. I am an experienced thrifter for 12 years. Shopped all over the Sacramento area and southern Calif. The comments below simply do not explain the process at ECO. They have a colored tag system. Each Tuesday the colors go on sale: 25%, 50% and 75%. Yes although the price may seem high one week it will go on sale the next. There are super bargains to be had. I buy for resale and I guarantee you I DO VERY VERY WELL from ECO. Salvation Army is good too, however, GOODWILL is absolutely out of the question. They have garbage and are constantly haranging you for money donations at the register. Their cowboy boots went from $10 a pair and now are anywhere from 15 - 35 for dirty destroyed boots. Shoes are $6 ...and you can get shoes for a lot less than 6 at ECO, Salvation Army and Fleamarket. People constantly complain about GOODWILL. They lost me a long time ago and I am a 500.00 / month shopper. Yes, ECO collectibles are high but they too are on the colored tag process. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Extremely helpful. ALL OF THEM. The store is well organized and yes gets a little messy at times but that is not the STAFF that is shoppers who never put anything back. Checkout is very well organized. They always call for addl checkers and make PA announcements so that shoppers know how long they have before they need to get in line. ECO are experienced in jewellry, collectibles and brands and naturally go for the higher price first time out but these prices fall into the 25, 50 and 75% off. The store is MOBBED when I go in daily. So obviously the rest of the experienced THRIFTERS do not agree with the comments below. Dont let these negative comments deter you from stopping at ECO. Tuesday is the day when colors change...so get there EARLY. ECO is a very well run thrift business.

This place is disappointing to the company eco thrift it shouldnt even be associated with it. . I came here expecting the same deals as the other store boy was I wrong . Well the colors that are on sale that week doesnt mean anything because literally everything I put in my basket thinking it was on sale because the tag color matched the color on sale but when I got to the counter theady pointed out how the tag had a red circle drawn around the price apparently excluding it from the sale . Which is stupid why dont u guys do it like the other store does and put the things that dont go on sale with a red tag. And not a sale colored tag so people grab it thinking its on sale only to get up 2 the counter and be told sorry this ones not on sale because see look her that lil red circle excluded it from the sale and ruin my mood so I ended up putting everything back. Ill stick to the eco on 55th St.

Overpriced doesnt begin to explain the cost for stuff there. I was so excited to go there for the first time, maybe pick up some cool stuff for work, so first I start perusing the jewelry, and sweet! I find a pretty necklace. Ouch. $40. I could have found the same thing a Salvation Army/Good Will for like $2. On to the clothing. I head over to the pants section. None of the pants are under like $9.99, really Eco-Thrift? Because I could buy a pair of NEW pants from Target for less. Then the shoes. Lets not get started on those. At SA/GW shoes are usually never more than about five bucks. Not so at Eco-Thrift. I happened to pick up a pair of pretty heavily used Bebe shoes....and.....$35. SERIOUSLY?? I could understand if they looked good, but they were trashed. $35 for trashed shoes? I dont think so. So, long story short, dont shop here. Its super expensive for not-so-great stuff.

I like this store. It seems to sell a little better quality clothing than the goodwill stores, I got some almost new Hawaiian shirts there for $ 5.00 , shorts, tshirts, hats, football jerseys. You never know what you will find because the stock changes constantly as people buy and donate stuff. I try to go twice a month. This seems frequent enough to find new stuff that wasnt there last time, and the sales change weekly, so I can find some decent deals. Some items are even brand new with the tags still on them. These items are 50% off the original prices on the dept store tags. How do you beat brand new for 50 % off ?? Give this place a try, and if you dont find anything, go back in a few weeks. Youll be surprised at the variety of the selection.

My most favorite store i never can get enough the best place to buy stuff while having little money i have anxiety and there are alot of people but i literally wear my sun glasses and go when not alot of people are there and i have to close my eyes and put headphones in when people are near it gets busy fast but with double my anxiety meds i love this place and would tell everybody about it since the pay raise prices have raised for the good stuff but its ok because time to time they have stuff for as low as 2-5$ jeans and they have a 25-50-75% off like wow amazing deals

Wow is this a thrift store or a high mark up "Vintage" store??!! Right next to there Nik naks is products seen at your local dollars stores, but marked up to a dollar and some change!!!!!! Their prices on everything but clothes are ridiculously priced! Then I went to look through the clothes and thought, ok the clothes arent so bad. Until I found a Guess dress shirt for $16 and some change with bleach marks all over it!!! Then I started to notice that name brand clothes were expensive with or without flaus.Smh that was disgusting. Will not be returning.

Prices are way too high - unjustifiably so. It doesnt matter if they use colored tags to give discounts -- that just means that they tried to sell the item for too much, in the first place. We saw items marked down 75% and they STILL were too high. $15.49 for a chipped mug, with a 75% off tag, is still $3.88 -- waaaay too high for something they should have tossed away. (The chip was old and discolored, meaning it came into the store that way.) $15 for used mens jeans? Theyre $13.00 at Costco - and brand new! We wont be back.

The employees are nice but the products are overpriced. I do however find a lot of great items. But when you find a pair of boots with $80 on the price tag and a stain on them Im sorry its not worth the price just because it has a name brand on it doesnt mean you have to put a high price on them. And the same with the jeans. Red tags that say $45 for a kids pair of jeans to much yall I get you need to keep your doors open but yall get enough revenue for that already. Youre a second hand store make the prices seem that way.
