The ice cream is always melted and the workers are asleep :) And its pretty uneconomical to have this right downtown, when Shuberts in just a few blocks away. And they are a family-owned operation that has been in Chico for a very long time. Local business. Wed be better off getting rid of this Cold Stone location and putting something that the community would enjoy better in its place. It has one of the best locations you could have downtown.Corporate franchises just dont jive with the Chico vibe. Dont get me wrong. I do LOVE their ICE CREAM, but not at this location. ^..^

The owner of the creamery was disrespectful, rude and far too assertive. We came in as a group of 10 to buy the 2 for $5 ice cream on Wednesday. 6 of us were paying together and four were paying individually. The cashier and I worked to properly pay and he proceeded to yell at the cashier and myself insisting that I was not paying. Even though I clearly paid for 6 and only 5 got ice creams before myself. I will not be returning if I see that he is in the building, he had no customer service skills at all.

Texture was amazingly silky like a velvet cake, the consistancy is like a good bread dough and absolutely melts in your mouth. But the place is kinda empty, due in no small part to its hard to reach parking and Less-Than-Ideal placement in the downtown area. After you are inside, service is prompt and with a smile but the place is kinda empty most of the time... Leaving it feeling kinda lonely inside.

VEGAN FLAVORS. And lots of em. Do you need some Thai tea in your life? Coconut? Earl grey? Come on down. This ice cream shop has a little bit of something for everybodys taste. It definitely has the largest/best selection of non-dairy flavors Ive come across.

Its for a younger crowd. The staff is nice, but every time Ive been in theres lots of high school kids doing high school things. Good ice cream, but theres other shops with less annoying patrons.

It has harsh, Walmart style, lighting in here, and its could use a decent cleaning. The ice cream is of course delicious, but it could use some improved ambiance.

The ice cream is delicious, one of the best, and they mix in the toppings so they dont fall off and they get mixed in to the whole thing, not just the top.
