Er... Cal Marts folks have always been nice to me, and the store is pretty decent for such a small market, though I usually go into Santa Rosa for major shopping. Beyond that, though, I have to say -- as of the time Mehrdads review was written (November 2009), the swimming pool had already been open for a season, and in any case, revenue from tickets never, to my knowledge, went to funding it. Im pretty sure it was entirely funded by donation... Not that, yknow, that review wasnt fairly obviously written by someone with issues.

We got sandwiches and snacks for a picnic lunch at a local winery here. Lots of variety and very affordable prices considering theyre the only game in town. Huge variety of cheese! They cut into a wheel of cheese for us and had a wedge ready to go in the amount of time it took for our sandwiches to be made. Great selection of wines and beers here too.

A local grocer that has a definite high-end offering--which I suppose is the nature of the grocery business. I am grateful to have CalMart here, and I use them regularly, though I will also do the CostCo run for quantites and discounts you cannot get here. The butcher shop is great as is the cheese selections and bakery.

Cal Mart has it all. The fresh meat department is great, deli has premade and custom sandwiches as well as salads, hot foods, etc. Great wine selection too. For a small town, we are very lucky to have such a great store. Bill Smith is a treasure and very generous to support literally every community program and project.

Small town one-of-a-kind grocery store. Has basic necessities and good healthy and organic options, hot food bar, salad bar, deli. Being small, selection is limited, a little pricy, but its Calistoga. Cheaper than eating out. Staff is friendly. Be careful getting in and out of the parking lot when its busy.

Best Italian sandwich Ive ever had. I got it panini style with the soft sour bread. It really hit the spot after a few hours of driving. Their fresh-squeezed OJ is also fantastic, and they have lots of higher-end and normal groceries. Their local wine and cheese selections are also worth checking out.

Great market with healthy and generally good products. Look for Reginas Heavenly Treats if you have a sweet tooth, made in town with high gormet standards. Sandwiches are good and reasonably priced for the valley, try their in house made turkey, roast beef, or tri-tip.

A small grocery store that punches way above its weight class when it comes to quality and selection. A great place to shop for a wine country picnic or a snack for the road. A full selection of fresh produce and prepared foods is available and the staff is friendly.

Great little grocery store. They actually had a great (and affordable) selection of sandwiches and prepared meals. Fresh coffee and donuts every morning. We were able to walk just down the street every morning instead of going to an over priced Café.

Great little market. Incredible selection of cheese. Had everything a daily shopper would need while also catering to tourism as well. Parking is very scant, especially on weekends. Thats the only reason for 4 not 5 star review

Nice upscale supermarket. We went to get some cheese and wine to picnic at a nearby state park. They had a great cheese selection and a great wines from the local wineries. The bread was also delicious.
