Tunes under the Socal Skies Buena Park Downtown held their Summer Concert Series Wednesdays at 7pm at the Krikorian Theatre courtyard. I attended 3 concerts & enjoyed the audio candy, immersed in our great SoCal summer weather. Big Air Trampoline Park gave out balloon animal bracelets & had entry forms for a birthday party raffle. Olive Garden handed out samples of their ravioli, pasta, salad & breadsticks to the delight of the concert goers. Sugar Plum Festival offered complimentary face painting. Buffalo Wild Wings served samples of their wings & various sauces. Unfortunately, they ran out before I was able to obtain some :( Raffle tickets were on hand for various prizes from a few of the tenants at the Buena Park Mall. I made sure to secure some, as Im a lucky guy. The Society Band performed pop/soft rock covers of such acts as Taylor Swift, Fleetwood Mac, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd & Michael Jackson. Yari More Band belted out Latin classics & original songs, spanning the Latin music spectrum from salsa to cumbia to merengue. Not to mention a fantastic Selena medley. The Journey Tribute band, Lights, performed during the last Buena Park Downtown concert & they ended the series with a bang. Rudy Cardenas, the lead singer, did Steve Perry proud and belted out the classics with his strong vocals. The band even did a "Faithfully"/"Purple Rain" mash-up that wowd the audience. Oh, and remember the raffle tickets for various prizes I mentioned earlier? Yours truly ended up winning a centerpiece & $10 gift certificate from the Sugar Plum Festival at the Society Band concert, and again at the Lights concert with a free carwash, courtesy of Team Automotive Buena Park. The Buena Park Downtown Summer Concert Series is an entertaining & wonderful way to enjoy the summer & groove to an eclectic mix of musical styles. Folding chairs are set up in the front of the stage, to go with the various seating arrangements at the courtyard. Guests can bring folding chairs, but security will prohibit setting them up at main walkways. I thoroughly enjoyed myself & plan to return if the concerts become a recurring summer event for Buena Park Downtown. Highly recommend!

Formally called the Buena Park Mall has changed into the shipping district it has become today, Buena Park Downtown. Its a lively and thriving shopping and local tourist community. There are a multitude of restaurants ( Portillos Hotdogs, Oliver Garden and well theres always a Starbucks), shopping (Walmart, Sears, WSS ) and lots more. Go and catch a movie with your romantic other or meet a friend and make a day of it for theres even a theme park (Knotts Berry Farm) within walking distance. Listen if youre bored and dont have a lot of money you can window shop or stroll around the store fronts at Knotts. Plenty of places to sit and watch and maybe even meet someone. Its always a good thing meeting someone new. Its what helps the world go around, you know. So why not get some fresh air a little exercise and enjoy the day and yourself just walking around and seeing the sights of Buena Park Downtown.

Well its a very simple layout and with plenty to do. the only thing I wish they had is a mobile app to incentives more visits. After a brief conversation with a store owner, and their concerns. (Operating in the Red) I reached out to Buena Park Mall. Because all news isnt great news , but can be helpful.. Kim in Marketing didnt think so , and consider my phone call bothersome...since I work as a volunteer in my community and sit on several boards. I was surprise at Kims response to my call. Oh by the way I belong to the Largest fraternity for men in the world. Needless to say after how I was treated, for my kindness, I wont be back. Retire Army, Father ,Coach ,Business Owner ,and Chamber Member . We treat all people how we like to be treated.....and we never know who is on the other end. Maybe Kim was having a bad day, dont know ,did care ,now Im over it God Bless and Be Polite.

Ive been to Buena Park Downtown when it was the Buena Park Mall. My parents have lived in Buena Park 54 years and still shop here. Sears has been the steady rock on the corner of the mall forever and still is priced competitively and offers the same great service they always have. I recently recommended the auto shop to a friend for brakes and she was thrilled ! They didnt talk down to her, didnt mind her many questions, were ok with her double checking their estimate but most of all they gave her a legitimate estimate that entailed showing the parts that needed replacing the followed through with the repairs done in the time quoted and the brakes were fixed correctly. Buena Park Downtown comes through again!

Johns Incredible Pizza and Big Air (trampoline park) are a great one-two punch for kids around 2yrs or older. Both provide a clean, safe, fun and interactive environment. Johns is a pizza buffet with games and a few indoor amusement type rides. Big Air is a trampoline park you pay by the hour and they have snacks and drinks you can buy. Family of 4 can get by for $80 to $125 total for both places if only the kids ride, play and jump. Jump BEFORE you eat!!! Playing Arcade and Video games for tickets to buy $.50cent toys can add $$ to this total quick.

This is truly gonna be a great place when President Trump gets done cleaning up the Asian and Mexican gangs but right now this place is full of scum. Food trucks, food carts, ten kids hanging onto a stroller, oversized sucias wearing spandex? No self-respect, you make me sick that I have to explain to my children that your "privates" are showing in public and that you are not scary at all though you try to be. Just stinky and ugly with anger. Cant wait to come back when you all are gone.#MAGA #deportNOW

It would be helpful to have signs showing the direction of which stores posted at the end of the entrance off the main roads. Parking was much easier than I expected. I saw that Krispy Kreme had their lot peppered with signs that it was for their customers only. I wasnt going to any place in that area so it didnt affect me, but do they really need that meant spaces? The lot was empty. There are no interesting stores here.

What can I say about this place? It has never been able to recuperate when it started closing a bunch of shops during the remodel in the 1990s. This place is missing a lot of the staples of a typical mall. It doesnt even have a food court! Many of the places here are shops youd expect at an indoor swap meet. Its improved some in comparison to five years ago and hopefully it will continue to improve.

It is a Schmatlzy little place with not much going for it, execpt for its big anchor: "Johns Incredible Pizza Company w/ All You can Eat Food & Fun", otherwise... the upper floor - was: BORING!!! D&I walked all around and found nothing in this dismal place, but the comfort from getting out the heat basking in their AC. Seriously! Back home to the LB for We, so we can get our Beach Breeze....
