This mall has over 100+ reviews and the majority of them are negative. Would like to start off by stating that this mall has a VERY low variety of stores. This mall offers your standard JCP, Macys, Sears, and Target. Other than that most of the stores leasing inside the mall arent very well known popular stores. Besides your average stores like Forever 21, Zumies, Pacsun, etc. The food court is a HUGE dissapointment to say the least. There is about 6 places to choose from, FOUR of them being asian based food. (Not that there is anything wrong with Asians or Asian food) Variety can be forgotten if youre going to decide to eat here. There would be more places to eat at this food court, but the spaces are empty. I personally feel the Food Court of this mall has huge impact in sales since it is a two story LARGE mall and you would assume your customers are exhausted from a long day of shopping and would love to sit and eat. This mall is usually empty, even on the weekends. As a business owner, I think this mall and the way its structured has HUGE potential in renovation and needs a little love from its owner because its in a nice area, its right off the freeway. The owner of this mall really needs to start thinking about this otherwise other retaielrs are not going to want to lease in mall that looks dead. The first floor is waaay too dark! LIghting needs to be addressed. The carpet needs to be cleaned or removed. Carpet is so 70s. Overall, this mall needs some care and attention from its owner. Rating this mall three stars. I wouldve done two stars, but giving it three only because I feel bad for it.

Although this mall appeared to be suffering an economic downturn, it seems to be re-inventing itself as a family-friendly hangout for kids of all ages. Its got all the fun anime, gaming, and comic type merchandise stores that our family loves including Small Wonders, Rolly Polly, Koko, Tokyo Lifestyle, Bon-Bon, Book-Off, and Gamestop. The mall also has a Skyzone, and Johns Incredible Pizza is coming soon too! The Westminster Mall has a descent food court, but if youd like better food without a higher price, heres a tip - you can get takeout from the Luxe Seafood Buffet and eat it at the food court. The kids in our family still prefer the food court (either the Chicken California from Charleys Steakery or a sandwich from Burger King), so everyone gets what they want. As far as shopping, Macys is about as high-end as it gets at this mall, which is fine with me. The convenience of Target makes Westminster Mall a no-brainer if you have to combine shopping for what you want with buying what you need. It should be noted that there are a few parking spaces designated for electric vehicles (see photo). Unfortunately, there is no parking structure at this mall, just an outdoor parking lot, so be sure to use your sunshade.

Car Stolen- I have been coming to this mall for many many years and have seen it quickly deteriorating in the last several years but this takes the cake. I had my car stolen in front of Macys last weekend in the middle of the day and I realize the fault is not the malls but the fact was that I could not get in touch with parking security for quite awhile and when the police arrived and took the report-spoke with security, found out that there is no surveillance cameras! My insurance told me that they have quite a few incidences like this in that area. Not having cameras or enough parking security is not acceptable in this day and age especially in a mall. If the criminals were so sure of doing this in broad daylight without repercussions then it will keep happening again and again. This time a crime of car theft, next time it could be a physical crime. My days of shopping in this mall are done, even though it is convenient. It is not worth the possibilities. I wanted to write this to get anyones attention to this and if enough people voice their opinions maybe the mall will do something..... be careful out there.

The westminster mall was looking a little sad in the last few years, shops closing down a lot of empty shops but know we have Chuze fitness, A new buffet restaurant opening soon, TGI Fridays, Target and Macys that keep the mall a live and the best that now has come to this mall is Skyzone for adults and kids that in the past week my 4year old daughter and i have already attended and had a blast. I swear this mall should become an attraction fitness mall. I think they need more entertainment, acting shows, shows maybe in the day or night with gymnastics twirling down from the ceilings, and in this would benefit for the local shops in the mall. Maybe a zip line across the center of the mall, something cause there is so much potential to this mall. Wouldnt this be a great attraction mall.

I get a little sad walking around this mall. It use to be thriving back in the heydays but with the recession and such, most malls are barely surviving. I got a scholarship from this mall a long time ago and Ive always been grateful for them. They use to have a lot of major department stores and chains but the economy has not be very nice to brick and mortar stores. Theres a couple of small stores mom and pop stores that sells random stuff but a majority of the mall caters to female fashion. Not a lot of major stores left except Target, JCPenney, Sears and Old Navy. The place is huge and theres a lot of space to expand. Parking is so easy. You can literally get a spot near the front of the door. Maybe they can get indie craft makers to take over the empty spaces.

This has got to be the worst Mall in Southern California. It looks like something that should be long in the "dead Mall series" on YouTube. Most of the businesses offer products you can find at your local Walmart or Target. There is nothing here that I would come specifically for. Other than Cinnabon and maybe Auntie Annes, there is no redeeming value to this place. There are so many unoccupied shops here that you would think that they did that on purpose to film the next zombie movie. The demographic that dismal caters to are mostly people who are looking to buy a bunch of crap only to sell it at a garage sale six months later. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, unless you are in need of air conditioning during the warm summer months.

I havent been to this mall in quite some time. It wasnt crowded for a Sunday. I dont know if people arent going to indoor malls any longer or something is seriously lacking here. It was more like a mall-soleum than a shopping experience. Plenty of parking unlike Bella Terra, its nearest competitor. The bookstore we visited was really cool. They had great bargains and a used section with recent titles. We went to Hot Topic as my son was looking for an Overwatch hat that they were out of. We found it at Spencers where I overpaid for it. Found both of those stores overcrowded with overpriced merchandise. That was the end of our trip. Now I know why its been so long since my last visit to the mall.
