Cuter-than-your-average-strip-mall in the middle of Belmont. Frequented mostly by locals, theres no standout anchor that brings em in, aside from perhaps upscale grocery Lunardis. Instead, theres a collection of seemingly competently-run restaurants (continental, mexican, chinese, japanese, pizza, bagels, etc.), specialty shops (kitchen design, dry cleaning, optometry, salon, chiropractor, convenience store with liquor license, etc.), and a couple of national/regional chains/franchises (Bank of America, Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, Subway, ACE Hardware, Verizon). The crown gem of this mall used to be Tylers nursery, a little Eden hidden one floor down from the main level, where a meandering stream ran through rows of interesting plants and trees, under a footbridge and next to a fountain. After over half a century, Tylers is closing in September 2015, and whatever replaces it will have a significant impact on whether the mall retains its unique flavor.

Great place to support the local economy. Sorta feels like the old days with smaller shops where great service is a given, not a rarity. Highlights for me: 1. Ace Hardware, a small hardware store with an enormous inventory--its rare that they dont have what I need for home maintenance. 2. Baskin Robbins is great for the kids. Good value and great ice cream 3. Lunardis Market blows Safeway out of the water in terms of quality and service. They provide ample checkers with baggers--what a concept. The Deli and meat counters are full service and fantastic.

It has decent shops but there is this one security gaurd, hes the one thats usually there, he followed us around and wouldnt leave us alone. He told us we had to leave because we were loitering but we werent...we were eating. He followed us into Lunardys and after I left he kept on following the rest of my friends. He then told them that we couldnt be there because we were minors, but there were other kids that had been there longer than we had.

Okay - a fabulous Saturday for me is to go to Bella Nails for a pedicure and Gin Mon for lunch afterwards. Some times, Ill add some grocery shopping at Lunardis in. On this last visit, I got drinks to-go for me (at Subway) and my sister (at Starbucks.} Really have a lot to offer. Their newest addition is the superb Ladera Garden Center for plants and uber elegant gifts.

They had a nice variety. The food court has done options. They had a carousel as well for kids. I needed to kill some time and was looking for some shoes for my toddler. They had a wonderful shoe store. I was hoping for a little bit more variety of stores besides the main ones like Sears JCP etc which..

The shopping center itself is packed with local flavors, including a number of restaurants, home & garden, salons, and specialty stores. My visit was to Docs Bagels, which hit the spot for breakfast.
