I was trying to get a trimmer but could not find one in this store. After a while somebody there told me because shoplifting was a problem, the trimmers were all moved off the shelf to a secure place. I enjoy the freedom of being able to touch and choose the products personally. I understand the reasoning behind the hiding of products from shoppers, but that in turn created inconvenience to the customer. There must be a better solution such as putting them inside a cage so that they cant be stolen without unlocking the cage, but still can be accessed by customers directly. Putting them away in a secure place turns away many potential customers and reduces sales. Just my opinion. I go to another Petco and get the stuff I want there. I sometimes buy stuff not because I have a dog or cat, but because they are well made and I like to collect finely made products. I gave them 4 stars because the inconvenience was caused by thieves, not them. The staff there are eager to help.

Unprofessional customer service. Sold me an empty dead snail shell and told me it was just "hiding" inside. And when I came back to return it, couldnt find anybody. After a while a woman who had been waiting since before me gave up and left without buying anything. After not seeing a soul for 20 minutes, an employee comes out of hiding to help me. All this for a $3 snail? No thanks. Also this happened around 7 or 7:30 and the store closes at 9.

This is a perfectly fine Petco. The only complaint I have is that there is usually only one person working the register. That would be fine, except that it is the manager, who is frequently the only employee and engaged in other tasks like helping old ladies put large bags of pet food in their cars. It just creates a frustrating five or ten minute wait that doesnt have to be so. Other than that, same old Petco.

Great service nice to animals go there for food or pets great selection on foods for pets 3 rows good for fish and birds and reptiles try bearded dragons if looking for lizard great first pet. pet smart killed there animals and let reptiles die and they would throw them in bags and freeze them so never go to pets mart go to pet co plssss.

Staff out of uniform. From the net entrance smells like urine. Dont usually seem to have what I want, or the selection is poor. Much prefer PetSmart, but I was right next door so I ran in for a simple item they did have in stock. Normally, I would drive down the road a piece.

Been to quite a few pet shops around the country over the years, but the staff here are the most helpful Ive encountered yet. Pretty knowledgable, too! I drive all the way across town to go here when there are closer options.
