Over three years ago I first tried to speak to Mr. Smith the only jewelry laser welder in Conway. I have to speak to a laser welder directly because of the complexity of my work. I was told I could not speak to Mr. Smith, and was not given a reasonable explanation by Mrs. Smith why I could not speak to him directly. Mrs. Smith always told me anything I have to say to Mr. Smith I can say to her, and she will pass it on, even when I gave a clear explanation why this would not work. Later Mr. Smith became ill. I would call to see how he was doing from time to time, and later told he recovered. Over a three year period of time I called once in a while hoping Mrs. Smith would let me speak to Mr. Smith because I would unnecessarily have to travel to Little Rock to get my work done. Over the three year period if I had been rude, or impatient with Mrs. Smith she would have asked me to stop calling. This did not happen, yet she knew who I was each time I called. Recently I went to the store, with my work to show Mrs. Smith in the hope she might give me a break. I showed Mrs. Smith my work, and did vent frustration, but was never out of line in language, or any other way. At this time Mrs. Smith told me I was rude, asked me to leave the store, and not return. Mrs. Smith can count on me not contacting her, or her business again. I have a wonderful rapport with a terrific, and well known Jewelry store in LR, who never questioned why I need to speak to their welder directly. Too bad we dont have something like this store in Conway.

First of all, I would like to address a review posted by a Mr. Wickser, Since my girlfriend has worked at this store for the last 22 years I have gotten to know Fletch and Sherry Smith extremely well. Apparently, this gentleman came in and was extremely rude and raising his voice to two 5 tall, tiny, soft spoken women for no reason other than they were trying to do their jobs. Inexcusable and very ungentlemanly behavior, they only thing they did wrong was not call the police on this man that apparently simply doesnt think women belong in the workplace. I mean, really? Now, for the good part! This store is amazing! And I truly have gotten to know and respect the Smith family and appreciate their store for their honest business practices and wonderful treatment that they given their customers. I, myself have purchased several pieces over the years and have had all of my watches serviced by Mr. Fletch Smith, who is a wonderful goldsmith! They are always on top of the jewelry trends and definitely go out of their way to make their customers feel like family. Businesses like this are few these days and I want to let Sherry, Fletch, Cindy and Renee know what a wonderful job they do and to please keep up the good work!!

What a marvelous treasure to have in historic downtown Conway, a third generation family owned fine jewelry store that has been here for almost 100 years! Not only does Fletcher Smiths Jewelers carry fabulous designers like Stephen Dweck, Jude Frances and many others, they also offer some of the best prices on diamonds and bridal that I have ever seen. Mr. Fletcher Smith is one of the best diamond setters in the state! Customer service is exceptional, they will often deliver, mail out or even arrive early to make sure the customer is not inconvenienced. And, on top of the fact that they run a terrific business, Mr. and Mrs. Smith contribute heavily to our community needs, CASA, The Boys & Girls Club, Bethlehem House, Dazzle Days, United Way and too many others to name!! They actually care about the community they live and work in, which is a rarity these days. Conway, is a lucky community to have this family and their well run jewelry store in it! Thanks Mr and Mrs Smith, two of the nicest folks you will ever meet!!

I absolutely LOVE this store and staff! I have bought several things over the years from them. One of my favorite designers they sell is Stephen Dweck. They carry several specialty lines of jewelry that you do not find just anywhere. I live in Vilonia and was in the tornado last year. I was able to find a few pieces of my Stephen Dweck jewelry that needed to be repaired and cleaned in the mess that was left. They were wonderful to work with me and sent my pieces off to Stephen Dweck communicating with them about my situation and asked them to repair my pieces. I was so excited to get back my repaired pieces with NO COST to me! They go above and beyond to help you. Such a great store to have downtown Conway!

I went to Fletcher Smith on the recommendation of a friend whose family has been doing business with them for years. Absolutely incredible and quaint store! Lots of variety you wont find everywhere else. The prices were reasonable, but if youre used to shopping at WalMart for jewelry you might think theyre high. But when you look at the quality, especially of their wedding and engagement rings youll realize that you get great value for what youre paying. I also like that the owner is on site and does specialty work and repairs right there at the store. This is what a jewelry store should be!

Let me see where do I start...... We have experienced our share of jewelers over the years and never encountered one that stands alone or sets themselves apart from the others. That is until we walked into Fletcher Smiths. Im not one to post reviews, however due to the quality, innovation, uniqueness and attention to design, I feel compelled to spread the word and not let it be just our amazing secret. I highly recommend stopping here first because I guarantee you will be circling back.......

They offer high quality merchandise at a variety of price points and the environment is very relaxed. I especially like that their collections are unique (not found at other local stores)!
