My fiance is a long haul trucker and we parked in the dirt lot across the street for the night. Before we left for the day we wanted to get something to eat and this was pretty much the only place, and we were so happy we ended up here. The food was delicious and authentic. And the staff was very friendly. When we went in we were the only ones there but it quickly started filling up. With one waitress and one cool youd might expect lower quality service, and while we did have to wait a bit to get our check, I didnt feel like the service was bad. The waitress made sure to acknowledge us everytime she passed our table and our food came quickly. She seemed to make sure all the customers were taken care of in a timely fashion. I would definitely eat here again if ever in the area.

My wife and I were visiting the Winslow area and was looking for some good Mexican food. We saw the 4+ star rating for this establishment and decided to go try it. Our biggest complaint was with the waitress. It was obvious she was overworked and was asked to do more than she could. My wife made a few simple inquiries reference the menu and was treated poorly as if the questions were unreasonable. In the end the food came after and extended delay and we didnt get what we ordered. When we went to pay, there was no receipt provided to us. The only thing we could figure was that the good ratings must be coming from friends and family. Do yourself a favor and pass this establishment. La Posada has much higher quality food, better service and is more reasonably priced.

OK, I am a Taco guy. Has to be authentic Mexican. Corn tortillas, beef, onion and Silantro, (red radishes sometimes). So they get an A+ for traditional tacos. (Lets all remember Burritos are a Gringo USA invention) The service is friendly. So if you are cool with excellent Tacos and friendly but not hovering service stop in get the Tacos, chips and Guacamole, and salsa, 2 beers and leave your judgement on the food only as that is the reason to stop.

What a find!!! If youre traveling I-40 through Arizona, take exit 255; on the North side of the freeway, across from the Best Western youll find this little gem. The food is outstanding as well as the service, contrary to the initial perception you may have when you first walk in. I know this will be my regular stopping point when I pass that way!! Dont let the remoteness or looks deter you from walking in the door.

Service is awesome! The red chili is best in Winslow, home made salsa has some heat and lots of flavor. Family ran restaurant, definitely best Mexican food in Winslow. Cold beer, domestic and imported.

This place is legit mexican food! You could put this joint anywhere and it would do well. What a treasure! I had the Flacos Tacos. Wife had an enchilada and a taco. Everything was great!
