Absolutely AWFUL. Ive been going to this location for many years because they are in a prime location for me and I believe there is still some value in longevity with a company. I also loved the previous eye doctor, Muller. However, my last few experiences the front desk customer service is beyond lacking. The front desk is simply rude and inefficient. It took me two weeks to get an appointment in because I work during their weekly hours. When I scheduled my appointment I gave the girl my insurance info so that I could find out how much my eye exam would cost. That was over 2 weeks prior to my actual appointment. They called and left me a message the day before my appointment at 5:30PM to confirm my appointment and to tell me they needed my insurance information again because what they had was invalid. By the time I got out of work and checked my messages they were closed for the evening. I showed up for my appointment today which is on a Saturday and started filling out the usual paperwork when the lady told me that they left me a message yesterday to tell me they needed my insurance information. I gave her my card at that time and explained I gave her the information previously when I made the appointment. She said that there was nothing she could do since my insurance company is closed on the weekends and asked me to reschedule during the week. I told the lady I work during the week and that I would be out of town the next week prior. She just looked at me like "too bad". And I said, "well I guess Ill just cancel my appointment" and she simply said "ok". To me that is horrible customer service. The company had ample time to contact me prior to my appointment which was two weeks out and notify me of THEIR ERROR in insurance since I had already given it to them previously over the phone. Not to mention I wasted my time and gas driving over there while they seemed to not care about giving me any customer service from the moment I walked in the door. My visit last year was not much better. The front desk chatted amongst themselves and seemed to care none to nil about their customers. It took over an hour to be seen and although the Eye doctor was nice the company failed to call me to tell me when my contacts had arrived. I finally waited until 2.5 weeks had passed to find out fi they had my contacts and the girl who answered simply said, "yes theyre in." I wonder if I hadnt called if anyone would have ever told me... Anyways, I called Lenscrafters up the street this same Saturday and the girl over the phone was very polite. She took my insurance over the phone and they will be seeing me tomorrow. No more nationwide for me.

This place has HORRIBLE service. Ive been there 3 times and all theree times i had to wait about an hour before i was seen. The front desk ladies are totally unorganized and speak very little english. Appears they been working there for like a couple days, but really they been there months and still act to be new! They need to get it together there! Scheduling appointments seems to take forever as well on the phone. Also even though they close at 7pm a couple days a week, if you go in or call after 6:30 they claim to be closed and wont help you. • • •This place has horrible service. My experience at this location were very good, when I initially had my appointment there was some confusion because they do not do coordination of benefits (using two types of insurance, they will only use the one with the better coverage, instead of using both of them.) But other than that the rest of the staff were very nice and patient the lady who helped me with my frames was amazing and VERY patient with me, also seemed to have good tastes as well. The optometrist was amazing he explained everything in terms that were easily understandable, and was very speedy. When I went to pick up my glasses the woman who helped get them fitted properly to my face was outstanding she was nice, she was smiling she even gave me the advice to not wear my new glasses home since I had been wearing my old ones all day, she said to wait until morning so that way my eyes adjust to them a little easier, and it worked very well, no headache or anything which is surprising because there was a big difference in the lense intensity.

Ive gone to other locations before and it wasnt so bad. I called yesterday to schedule my yearly appointment and the lady put me on hold to "check the computer for me". She had me on hold for 12 minutes. I called back thinking maybe she had just forgotten I was on the phone and it went to voicemail. I called back again maybe ten minutes later and again, voicemail. So I left my information and they still did not call back. I called today hoping yesterday was just an off day for them and i got "nationwide, can you hold?" I of course said sure, hung up, and called Americas best. I had an appointment scheduled in two minutes with them and they didnt even have any of my prior info like nationwide did! This was pretty ridiculous and I will not go back there when theres a company like Americas best out there who is cheaper with better customer service. These guys are ruining your store. Get better employees.

Absolute worst customer service, the women at the front desk spent more time talking with one another than actually helping myself or anyone else in the store. Scheduling an appointment was a nightmare in itself, as other people whove posted here will attest to. I am at the point where I would rather be blind than go to that store ever again. As another user had put, I would rather give this a zero out of 5 stars if at all possible. The staff was more immature than a bunch of 5th grade children and with not being assisted, no actual appointment being scheduled and getting to the point where I am now I would not recommend this site until the staffing improves. However, considering the aforementioned comments of disdain and distrust with this center, I do not think I would return there nor recommend any family to go to the location.

Still struggling to get some kind of closure. The appointment for the prescription itself was fine, but its been 3 weeks and neither my wife nor I have received our glasses OR contacts! Two weeks in they said they had emailed our insurance and not heard back. Now they are saying that even though they are approved by our insurance they arent sure how to make their system work with it...? Shouldnt you tell people this before you run them through your system? They say they may be able to get my contacts, but Ill have to go to some other eye wear establishment to purchase glasses. Someone needs to get their act together and manage this place. the employees all look bitter and angry, and an eye glass place that wont sell you eye glasses is beyond ridiculous.
