I actually only went in to see if they could remove stones from A vintage ring I had inherited. They told me if someone else was going to be designing a new piece , then the removal would be done by that Jeweler. I preferred not sending my stones through the mail, as I was only using the gold. However , I understood why they wouldnt remove them. Where the issue came in was when I was basically told my ring was pretty much garbage. The gold is real , but the main stones were junk , and I believe that was the exact word used. It was taken to a back room to allow a specialist of sorts to verify they were junk, and that was that. I left and was floored that the stones were not real and at that, wasnt even told in a nice way. They were curt and rude. Heres the absolute worst part and why I decided to leave this long review , I took it elsewhere , where they actually told me they think they were fake but were not 100% sure if they were , so they sent them to a lab. They are indeed real. If the lady in the back room that checked my ring out for a second wasnt sure, they should of given it back and said they werent sure. I was told the stones were junk. They are not only not junk , but worth a quite nice amount. Im beyond disappointed!
