As someone who works in customer service and knowing that customers can be impatient and rude at times, I honestly never complain. But my purchase with Mega Furniture has been a pretty bad ordeal. We bought a dining set back in March, letting the sales rep.(who was very helpful and informative) know that we would be picking it up on May 20 when we would be moving in to our new place. We call a week before the 20th to let them know well be picking up next week. The 20th comes and sadly they dont have the dining table ready for pickup. At this point they told us they would be calling us regarding the mishap. We get a call and they tell us our order wont be here till 4-6 weeks from now. Luckily they offered to throw in free delivery for the ordeal. 5 weeks go by and we decide to call and check the status. The person on the other end isnt sure and says theyll get back to us in an hour. They never do. We call back the next week with the same inquiry, and the person says the manager will call us tomorrow, and no call the next day. We called today and the lady told us our dining table will be here on another 4-6 weeks. Its a pretty ridiculous ordeal, but were supposed to be getting a call from the district manager tomorrow, so hopefully we can get some sort of help, compensation, or who knows. Really hoping they call as we would like to give a higher rating, and the merchandise was very nice and at a reasonable price. A lot nicer if it was already in our home, but well see. Update: No call. Will be stopping by to cancel the order and financing. Update2: We are told that they will email corporate to request cancellation. 72 hours time. No call back within the 4 days. So we call and are told they dont just do cancellations that easily and that we were misinformed. They even tell us that our delivery is already scheduled for this Thursday. They say that they will email corporate regarding any possible discounts. Thursday is here and I get home and weve been delivered the wrong table. We paid $900 for ours and this one is on the website for $495. Just crazy how extremely terrible this entire experience has unfolded. PLEASE do not purchase merchandise from Mega Furniture and save yourself a huge hassle. Just some words of advice.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The way that they operate is terrible. I am shocked that they are still in business. The customer service is very poor. Purchasing is nice and simple. However, if you ever decide to cancel or need a refund for an order that you have not received, you will have to go through hell to get it. It seems like they will do anything that they can to avoid talking to you. A few times, we have been left on hold for 20 min or more. The majority of the time, the call will go to a voice-mail that is always full. When they tell you that they will call you back, they wont. My husband and I called less than 48 hrs later to cancel an order that we had placed on 1/4/17. The first time, we were told that our order could not be cancelled because it was financed. We then contacted the bank, and we were told that Mega Furniture would just have to refund the money to the account and it could be cancelled. We called Mega and spoke with a manager who told us that they are not allowed to cancel orders and that they would have to contact corporate. My husband and I contacted corporate as well and just like the store, it is very difficult to get in touch with anyone. We left our contact information with them and we have not yet heard 1 word from them. I called today to check the status on the status of the cancellation and was told the same thing that we were told the first few times we called. The manager had no answer for us on the status...he would have to contact corporate. While speaking with the manager, he seemed careless and was unapologetic. It felt as though he was trying to rush me off of the phone. Currently, we are still playing their game, getting the run around. Tomorrow, I will be contacting the BBB. For anyone who has experienced the same thing or something similar, Id recommend that you do the same. They cant just take peoples money and go into hiding when it should be returned. We do not have their furniture and never have, but we will have to start paying a bill for it in a few weeks. This is insane.

Ordered a sectional couch from a nice associate on 10/31, paid cash, and was given a pretty standard 7-10 business day time to have it delivered because we wanted the chaise on the opposite side of the floor model. After this time passed, we called the store and the employee said, "We didnt call because its not ready." Oh... ok? Basically this same scenario played out for weeks until the buck was passed to their warehouse. A warehouse manager reluctantly emailed daily updates (which I assume was to stop our calling) and a delivery date was set a month and a half after ordering. Thought the wait was over only to see the wrong colored couch sitting in the back of their truck. Finally we were put in touch with a district manager and his response was literally, "You can wait 5 weeks for the couch you want or you can go somewhere else." Buying furniture should not be this stressful. Its a couch, not biopsy results. We took our money back and got the same couch at the same price in 5 days from Ashleys. I would NEVER recommend Mega Furniture.

I bought a sofa/love seat 3 years ago and an additional warranty (five year). The purchase was made at the tempe location. After about a year of owning the sofa the structure inside broke. They replaced it under the manufacturer warranty and said that if anything else occurred it would be covered under the additional warranty. This year the sofa is broken again and the love seat is starting to pitch toward the center making it uncomfortable to sit on. Once again I called them to have them both replaced. Come to find out the warranty they sold me was bogus. After asking specific questions about the warranty during the purchase and the the misleading information from the original representative I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! My tables were supposed to be delivered on four, yes I said four different dates, but yet to get delivered. I had to call them each time to see why they were not delivered on the scheduled date (s), as they did not notify me ahead of time. Had been calling the Tempe store and spoke to Clem and Lori on several occasions, both of whom always say that they will call me right back, but they never do. They give you the run around and do not deliver your merchandise or give you a refund. Its been almost a month and this has yet to get resolved. In my opinion, this place is very crooked, right along with the so called "customer service"! I will be reporting them to the BBB!

My experience with Mega Furniture was awesome. I looked around a lot of different stores to gift a bedroom set for my wife. Nothing actually impressed me but finally I ended up buying the beautiful bedroom set from Mega Furniture. I had a big dilemma to choose between the two beautiful sets, which I loved the most. I took a lot of time to choose one. The store manager Victor himself came to assist me and I feel sorry for him because I took a lot of his time to choose one of the two. But he was very patient and explained me everything about both the sets and helped me to choose the best one. And the best part is my wife just loved it. Thanks Victor!! I would definitely be back here to buy more!!!
