I wish I could give 0 star. It is absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced. My boyfriend bought an open box sound bar from Chandler Best Buy with full Geek Squad Protection. But the remote doesnt work. We need the remote to link the subwoofer to the sound bar. We were wondering if we could just get an replacement remote from a nearby Bestbuy because we live in Tempe and dont feel like driving all the way back to Chandler store just for a remote. So we called the Tempe store and asked if they can do that. The guy on the phone told us they will exchange a new sound bar for us. We told him that we bought it as an open box item and bought it from Chandler store. He told us that would not be a problem and asked us to bring our sound bar in so we did. However, the African American store manager of Tempe Best buy told us they can not give us an exchange or just a new remote because we bought it from Chandler store. And he told us that he could not find the guy who was on the phone with us. He was extremely rude and looked down to us. The tone he talked was really nasty. So we decided that we just want to return it. However, he would not do a return for us even we just bought it the same day. He told us we have to return to the same store we bought it. Well, I have shopped at Best Buy for few years and never heard such a return policy. And I did return items to a different store from where I bought from before. We tried to argue with him and he started to yell at us really loud and told us that we are stupid. This is really how Best Buy treat their customers?? !!!!!

I prepaid for drop insurance on my new Mac Book Pro as I was promised it would all be taken care of and look like new when I got it back should anything ever happen to it. Well the laptop did take a spill and suffered a split in the seam in the back over one of the hinges. I was assured it would all be handled and there would be no sign of the damage when I got it back. When I receive it back the split was still there, looked like they dusted it off and sent it back. They fussed about it and behaved defensively. All the while there was a woman next to me complaining to an other Geek Agent that she had submitted repairs 3 times and her track pad was still unresponsive. I was promised that my redo repair would be expedited and over night air shipped that evening. 5 days later. after not hearing anything, I make the call, it wasnt shipped out for repair until 2 days after I dropped it off, they explained this to me in a haughty defensive tone, as if it were my fault for believing the Geek Squad Agent. Currently no one knows where my computer is and no one knows how to find out where it is. They have me at a disadvantage.I have spent too much money in that store to be treated with such disregard.

I went in yesterday very frustrated with a broken Verizon phone that even Verizon couldnt fix. After 3 weeks I decided to, at the recommendation of a friend, go to Best Buy. Cassidy helped me on my first day. She was A-Mazing! She was super helpful and answered every question I threw at her. To my surprise, I had a voice mail from her in the morning on my personal work line. She called to let me know I had left a very important work notebook at the store and she had it locked in the safe for the evening. What a breath of fresh air! Her customer service was top notch. I returned the next day to pick up my notebook and while I was there, have all my information transferred to my new phone. Not only did Michelle transfer my information to the new phone but she fixed my old phone in the process!! I called Verizon four times, spent hours on the phone with their people, and went down to a store twice to no avail. Within an hour, Michelle fixed it. Awesome! I will definitely be recommending people to you for cell phones in the future. Thank you!

I came in last wed. I know my warnty is almost up. But my mac book air wassup over heating. I am a student and have classes online so it is hard for me to bring it in. Well last wed the dude said nothing could be done bring it back Friday. So I did. I deltail with a woman named Ashley who was rude and I felt theathen by her. Told me to get it fix now or let my wanerty go up. I left it at geek squard praying they dont mess it up anymore or try to do something to it. I even talked to a store manger before I left. I missed a call Saturday but called back Monday (yesurday) the man said on the phone they sent it off for repair and it be here tomorrow. I called today and the woman said no we been waiting on you and your wanrty about To go out do you want me to send it. I said yes. I really hope they fix it and I dont have to pay for it. I am never going back to this Best Buy or maybe any. Plus I called the 1888 number today stayed on the phone almost 40 mins and 20 mins on hold for nothing as well

This establishment is one of the worst retail stores that I have ever had the misfortune of conducting business with. It is not a great surprise that they are having financial difficulties. If you do happen to purchase something from them; then read the fine print to make sure that you can return the item if you have a problematic issues with your purchases. A lot of the items they sell cannot be returned and in some cases, it does not even make any difference if you have opened the item and tried to use it or not. My advice, if you can get the same item at another retail establishment; then use them. In the long run, you will be very happy that you made such a smart choice. They care only about their bottom line, not the individuals that help keep them in business, in the first place. Moreover, thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to read this educated opinion about a retail nightmare.

Bust Buy! I came to accompany my vacationing granddaughter on July 2nd, to pick up a TI-Nspire calculator I ordered for her online. I listed her as an alternate pickup person - the calculator is for her anyway. When we got there, my granddaughter presented her ID but was totally ignored by the clerk. She instead turned on to me and asked for the debit card I used to buy the calculator and asked for an ID. The clerk was totally unprofessional and rude. She gave me the impression that shes racist. If I didnt accompany my granddaughter, it would have been a total waste of time for her. Was it Best Buy Tempes procedure that is stupid or was it the clerk? Or both? We will never go to that store again. Id like to add that my granddaughter and daughter never had any problems picking up items at Casper, Wyomings Best Buy store.
