Strange Business Practices... My first review was somehow removed... I am reposting. I took in some of my things to be sold to kid to kid and left surprised. I had 7 items including many big ticket items. I purchased these things for well over $400 new and they were in great shape. They offered me only about 1/4 of the worth. Now this was not really a problem because I said no to some of the bigger items and took them home with me to either give to friends,sell on craigslist, or sell at a garage sale. However, I did sell some of the smaller items. I received a small credit ($35) in store which I was thinking would be good to pick up some clothing at later time. Before I left I asked for a receipt for the items that I was selling and I was refused a receipt stating that they put the credit towards my phone number and they are NOT allowed to give receipts. This is highly unusual in this day and age and it left me bewildered by their business practices. Because of the low amount of money that you will get for your items and the strange practice of NOT giving any documentation of the sale to the customer I would not recommend selling items to this company. It is good to note that the representatives treated me nicely. The amounts you will get for items are as follows: Toys: 30% of what they sell it for. Equipment: 40% of what they sell it for. For example if you bring in a high chair that you paid $125 for new, they can only sell it used so it estimate 60% of original value; therefore, they will sell it for $75. Now take 40% of the $75, which is $30 and that is the high end of what you may get for your $125 high chair at Kid to Kid. With the number it is easy to see that it is not worth the gas and time it takes to go to kid to kid. Have a garage sale be happy.

Honestly, the only great clothing I have ever found here was the NWT clothing, and you can get those on clearance at a Dept store for less. Aside from that...I will NEVER go here again. They are a rip off. We were new to the area, but we always shop resale so I decided to shop here. Bad idea. Besides the dirty toys and and very very worn items, I saw nothing good. Their bows are GROSSLY overprices (go to Walmart off Elliot, same stuff for only $1.00). I bought a sippy cup with credit from selling for $4. The same cup sells for $1.99 RETAIL! Are you serious?!?! I took some clothes in to sell, baby clothing that had only been worn one to two times each piece. The girl said she could only take a few things (no big deal, they had a ton of baby items, I could see that). She had 6 outfits (2-3 pieces EACH) that each retailed new for $40 or more, and could clearance for $20 easy. She offered my $5 for each outfit. Umm...no. I then sold the items to a store in San Diego for $25 total...yeah, 5 times the amount. Those outfits would have sold for a minimum of $8 in this store and she offered me $5. I will not give my business to a store that insists on insulting its community with crap pricing while the pretend they are such a great store. This store in an embarrassment to resale stores everywhere.

I brought quite a few things to both this and the Scottsdale location. They barely gave me any credit for the items I brought in even though they were brand name stuff. Also, one of the women at the counter was overly possesive of the items coming in for consignment in a rude manner. Not business I want to sell to or buy from. Stick with Once Upon A Child, youll get more money for your trades ins AND much friendlier service.

Hello Neighbors... I absolutely adore this store "Kid to Kid" in Ahwatukee...their staff is always so helpful and welcoming. The other day one of their team members was wonderful w my little man.. she helped him find his toy train he wanted. And she was so helpful with finding him a new outfit for our special trip to the zoo. Thank you Stephanie... Your so great with kids and give beautiful customer service. :)

Cramped for space, often times not well organized. I have found damaged goods sealed in plastic where you couldnt find it until you brought it home. At least one of the buyers (Starts with an Sh...) has temperamental buying habits where talking the talk is not consistent with walking the walk. Having said that, for the most part the folks at this location are helpful and give decent customer service.

The employees stood behind the counter talking to each other, one even texting while I stood at the counter waiting to b helped. They all took turns turning and smiling at me and id signal I was ready (not hard when youre 2 ft away) but it was all on their terms. Worst customer service. I can tell you all about their holiday plans though! :p

I literally brought everything on the list they are looking for, as I watched her, she only grabbed ONE little suit outfit and put the rest in the box WITHOUT looking at the rest.. even an un opened carrier? And took shoes that can clear as day be seen as worn and gross, she gets $35 store credit. Im laughing and pissed on the inside lol

Every time I go into the store there is new merchandise. I love the choices, the atmosphere and the people that work at Kid to Kid. They are always friendly and helpful. I am so glad there are several Kid to Kids within the valley. No matter where I am in town I can always stop by and see what they have to offer. Thanks

This location has helpful employees! Amazing sales and great gently used clothes and toys. I recommend this location to all my friends when they are in need of something for their kids because at this store you dont pay the retail price for the items you need. You spend less for great quality used items.

I usually dont do this but today I had to because it seems like every time I go in there the employees attitudes get worse and worse. They all are very rude and look annoyed by everything from the moment I walked through the door I feel unwelcome. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS STORE!

We had the opportunity to visit the Ahwatukee Kid to Kid recently while in town for our grandchildren. We sold some clothes and took store credit to replace them. The process was fast and efficient and we got some great new items for their wardrobe. Love Kid to Kid.

This place is great to find designer clothes I would not have been able to afford otherwise! The sales they run are awesome. I always trade in clothes for a credit towards new things. I have never had a problem with a return/exchange. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Ive shopped at this location for nieces and nephews but now its my turn to be a mom and I can guarantee that K2K will be my go to store! The prices are great, great quality of inventory, very well organized and the staff is always so friendly; almost like family!
