Having had the good fortune to stop in to this particular Jo-Ann store on two occasions within one week, I was extremely disappointed with the level of knowledge of some of the clerks - but the check-out experience on both visits was abominable. The first time, there were 3 people ahead of me and it took 25 minutes. The second time, there were 6 people ahead of me (and at least 12 behind me) and the wait was over 35 minutes. The checkers were incapable of calling in for assistance as they could see the line growing. When they finally did, no one ever appeared. Two different patrons at respective check-out stations took at least 15 minutes each. Management - do your job and get your body up front and do your best to get your customer base THROUGH the lines. NO ONE should have to wait that long...and Corporate - get someone out there and train these people to either get assistance to help patrons who find going through the check-out line challenging or make certain to have a PLAN B and get more staff up there to get the customers through the line! There is no excuse for this. I was very close to leaving my precut fabrics on the floor, in the line where I had been standing for over a half hour and leave the scrap product for the store to now figure out how they could now sell it. I spent over $100...and only stayed because I had the fabric cut. Never again. Never. And to future customers, dont say you werent warned. Otherwise, bring a book for waiting in the check-out lines!

Awful service, be prepared to wait in very long lines, always a long line to have fabric cut, and then another long line to pay for the fabric that you just had cut. Employees dont seem to care, have tried to give them a chance, but every time I go back its the same, I only go now if I absolutely cannot get what I need elsewhere, oh, and if I have a lot of time on my hands!

Incredibly understaffed for a very busy time of the year. Over a half hour wait just to have fabric cut and then another 20 minutes just to get out the door. The place was packed and the had something like 3 employees working. Its obvious that they dont care about their customers. My time is valuable. Id rather pay a little more to get out the door faster.

I love Jo-Ann fabrics and their large selection of items. It seems however, that there is always difficulty getting help on the sales floor. However, I am happy that they take competitors coupons and that they take multiple coupons. That way I usually get a great deal and save a lot of money. I only wish there was more people to help you find your selections.

Poor service. I called ahead to see if they carry Nurture nest pillows (they have them in Mich.) first she said she didnt think so. Then she spoke to someone who said they thought they had them, but the person didnt respond to say they checked for sure. I am supposed to drive there to check the stock for them? I will go to a different Joann Fabrics.

The selection of fabric available is ridiculous. I found the crushed velevet material that I needed to finish a custom project for my safe. My wife found the exact material that she needed to finish her dress. We bought a singer sowing machine their for a good price. The sales rep even gave us a demontration on how to properly use the machine.

This store has a better selection of crafts and fabrics than any other store in the area. However, at busy pre_holiday times, the wait to get fabric cut can be tedious. Especially if there is a sale, be prepared for a long wait.

Amazing selection of fabric compared to other locations. Large store with plenty of options. This location is one of the larger Joanns that I am aware of in the east valley. This is becoming my regular fabric store.

Waited 40 minutes for help at the framing counter (after continually being told "just a minute") only to be told the framer isnt in today. Understaffed and not helpful. Take your business elsewhere, I am.

I love this store! The location isnt usually very busy & they have great selection w/ EVERYTHING! I love Joannes in general, because they have very reasonable prices. Way better than Michaels!!!
