I was very disappointed. I stopped going to Michaels because I felt this company had better prices and selection. In my search for a particular item that the Ray Rd location was out of, I found this store only to discover it was 7:50pm. Ugh! I was just as disappointed as they were that the store was closing in 10 minutes. Craft shopping does not always make for a quick visit. I tried my best to find what I needed quickly, and when I had questions, I felt I was met with hostility that I was still in the store so close to closing time. I quickly gathered my items and rushed to the register. The register employees were not welcoming as I approached and I can understand everyone wants to get home after a long day at work. I expressed my apologies for the situation, as I was searching for an item the other location was out of stock of (that locations employee was not approachable either). I left that evening feeling unwelcomed. I preceded to go to Michaels as they were opened for an hour later. HUGE difference! Michaels had everything I needed and more! Better selection, too!Even though I stayed there until the store practically closed, the Michaels staff in Chandler were refreshingly helpful and willing to do so. No one griped at me for being in the store at 8:58pm The next day I returned all of my items to the Chandler Hobby Lobby and cashier Jinessa seemed to still be in a bad mood from the night before; as if she was upset at me for returning items after making her stay past 8pm. Poor attitude. I will not shop at this location again. As many of these employees look overworked and unhappy to be at their job. Spend your money at Michaels, instead. Better service, better selection, BETTER COUPONS and youll be treated better, as well.

Very & I mean *VERY* poor customer service the store itself was in great conditions appearance wise. Once inside looking for the items I was in search of I did find a couple items reasonably quick but when I could find the last item I approach an employ to ask where its located at I she herself is a manager of some sort she doesnt have a clue what Im talking about I explain its on there site Wich says its in store in stock she says she needs to call somebody else to help Wichita took forever to catch up to me & alls he says is just because it says it on there website doesnt mean we always have it in store without even looking what so ever for the item I was insearch of even asking the guy if he was going to attempt to look for said item he insisted that they did not carry it in stow only on website then tells me to go to a metal shop to look for the item I was insearch of I told them both that insane if wanted to go to a metal shop I would have in the first place I immediately left what my cart & walk out unsatisfied & a little disappointed in the staff working there. I did go to a different hobby lobby location located in mesa where I walk in & within the first 3min of being there I was in the checkout line with all the items I intended to by at the Chandler location and the mesa location had way better customer service with more than enough help offers without asking for it way to go mesa hobby lobby:) to bad I cant say that about the Chandler location:(

Hobby lobby has just about any items you could imagine for crafts, and lots of nicnacs that you really probably dont need. Ive done a fair amount of shopping there over the last couple of years, but I always go only when I cant find what I need up the street at Michaels. For one, Michaels is laid out where things are much easier to find. Secondly, I have yet to meet a friendly cashier at this location. I always smile and try to be friendly, but they are always surly. Its ok. Ill just continue to go to Michaels for most of my craft supplies.

This store is great, ive been looking every where for certain things for my sewing project and they have it. Also for my scrapbook projects, best selection over all. As for the customer service, yes i agree they can work on giving better customer service. Its so simple, just ask if you can help. Know your product and where to locate them in the store. If they have a project that you dont know too much about, ask questions to get more details to help u understand what they need or looking for.

This store is a joke, the staff is extremelly rude, manager Georgia needs some serious training. She was racist, unwelcoming of little children and rude. It is aggravating when you complain to the manager about a staff member being disrespectful, and the manager is more insulting than the employee. Dont appreciate the way I was treated. These employees made the store fall short of the Christian spirit they want to portrait. I will never shop there again.

Havent been to a Hobby Lobby for years before today and instantly regretted staying away so long! Such a great selection of products! Went in looking for ideas and decor for my sisters baby shower and left with so much more! I came in at the perfect time because theyre putting out their Fall & Christmas items which are my two favorite seasons to decorate for! I used a 40% off coupon that they had on their website, too! Will be back very soon!!

There is always a long line waiting to check out at both the Chandler and Ahwatukee locations. I dont understand why Hobby Lobby has to be the only store in the universe that does not scan items. The cashiers have to ring up each item separately and refer to their "cheat sheet" to see if the item is on sale, then punch in the correct discount. Perhaps the owner thinks this is more personalized service. Its a nuisance.

The store is nice but theres a woman who was just working the cash registers with short blonde hair and an accent and she literally didnt even look at me once just said "did you find everything" and then shoved my receipt towards me and said "here"? She was turned around talking to a coworker about some drama the WHOLE time. I always leave positive reviews but that was such an unprofessional thing to do.

I love the frame shop theyre very nice there. They do great work and help you out very well. My frame looks amazing. I love the fact that they are closed on sundays to have time to spend with your family and church. Just like everyone should do. Its better than michaels its a lot cleaner bigger space and I have more to choose from. I love that place. And it conveniently right next to the mall.

Honestly one of my favorite companies due to the amazing customer service I receive EVERY TIME I am here, which is often. The store is always so well organized and tidy and the prices wont make you leave your wallet at home so you can window shop. Great store great company and as a loyal customer, I appreciate all the employees (Ive probably dealt with most of them lol) for being awesome.

Poor customer service. As a fan of diecast collectibles, its disheartening to come back week after week for nearly a year now and see nothing new. Employees seem to either have no idea when new stock comes in or dont care to find out. Asking employees in-store only results in a casual shrug and an "Idunno".
