This supermarket has something for everyone! The produce is beautiful and there is a huge variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. Every section has an amazing selection, and perfect quality. For example: the cooler with eggs has fresh duck eggs, fresh quail eggs, preserved eggs, pickled eggs, egg replacer, AND a full selection of hens eggs. There are aisles individually dedicated to Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand,India, Pakistan, the Caribbean and more -in addition to aisles dedicated to tea, noodles, rice and much more! This location is a new branch of the famous Chandler store by the same name. I prefer the Peoria location because it is bigger, and has an amazing liquor department. The location also houses two restaurants, one a quick cafe, the other a full service sit-down restaurant. Overall, this is the largest Pan-Asian supermarket in the Phoenix metro area, and the best place to shop for fresh produce.

Amazing variety of foods--my new go-to place for produce, and meat-cuts Ive never seen before. Completely indifferent staff up front--no eye-contact, no greeting--todays clerk, a young man, never acknowledged my existence. Would be terrific if they had recipes posted so that those of us who are new to these ingredients would be inspired to use the bounty of exotic foods. No one assigned to ask you if youd like some help or have questions. Fascinating mix of customers, but very sterile environment if youre not Asian. Frequent whiffs of spoiled potatoes. Love the selection, but dont feel welcomed. Would love more input from store about the foods. Will continue shopping there for stunning selection of foods! Just needs some ambience and a few friendly faces.

Just moved to AZ and found this place. Good selection of variety of international foods. However, the customer service needs a lot improvement. I asked the cashier when the bakery opens (it was Saturday morning at 9, when the market just opened). He rolled his eyes and snapped at me "I dont know". Then he shaked his head as if I asked the most ridiculous question hes ever heard and turned his back towards me. He was just standing there, no one was in line. I was not expecting that at all. I know the bakery is operating separately from the market. So if he doesnt know, thats ok but there is no need to be rude. Im appalled by the lack of customer service. Not sure if I want to come back here again. Definitely I will tell my friends about my experiences.

This Asian supermarket isnt as nice as some of the ones Ive visited in the past (like Mitsuwa in Chicago), and it might take you a while to find what youre looking for, but they should have everything you might need. Ive gotten some pretty obscure items (by American standards) here and have never been let down by lack of product available. After living in Tokyo, this is my source for all ingredients for dishes that arent typically available in Japanese restaurants in the valley. Ive found only 2 restaurants in the valley that serve Gyudon, and they dont even come close to my home-made version that I make from scratch from ingredients I purchase here at Lee Lee. The produce and meats are also much cheaper here than a Frys or Albertsons, so bonus.

The best people watching the area has to offer. Dont tell me Old Town Scottsdale is where the action is. Lee Lee has it all: blondes with botox galore, European men speaking Spanish, and Vietnamese fathers humming to the sound of "All the Single Ladies" playing discreetly over the intercom. I wasnt shocked by the contents of the store - anyone who watches the extreme food channel knows that delicacies such as silkie chicken and fisheye soup really do exist. What I was surprised by was that I felt like I could be in downtown Oakland perusing the streets with smells of raw fish and seaweed and botan rice candy. Living in Arizona can sometimes make me forget all that. I will be back.

They have everything here that I need for Filipino food. This is my place for any ethnic spices and foods, especially for Indian food. They have a Vietnamese Restaurant inside, as well as a Boba shop that sells food too. The food inside the restaurant is so affordable, and so good, you have to eat there at least once. The guy at the Boba shop is very pleasant, and full of smiles. My fav is avocado. Really, it is so good! Another is mango and Lilikoi. Try their noodle soup and their Banh Mi! If youve never been, you must explore in this store!!

Wonderful place! I buy more tea than I could possibly ever need, and their low prices on quality tea definitely contributes to that :) if youre looking for actual cooking supplies and things used in Asian dishes, or if youre just looking for some cute snacks or desserts, Lee Lees is essentially a one stop shop for all of it. I always by loads of canned drinks. Its the only place I can stock up on UCC Coffee. For any Evangelion fans who havent gotten to try it yet, its like a dollar and its delicious

I absolutely love Lee Lee. I lived in Japan when I was younger and just being there is very nostalgic for me. Plus they have nearly all of the things that I loved so much while I was there. Plus its HUGE, the size of a normal supermarket, and carries food from all over the world (not just the asian countries). Plus the prices are almost what I payed in Japan (some of the things, the candies especially, are little higher priced but not bad).

Finally went to check it out. Huge with a restaurant and juice bar. Plenty of checkout lanes. Foods from all over Asia including Indian staples. Their fresh meat and seafood area looked good. Had live catfish and tilapia. While none of the items are my "cup of tea," Im glad I stopped in. I think Lee Lee fills an important niche.

Its not your traditional grocery store but if looking to cook up some oriental type food this place would be a good place to start. And I guess if you want to try something different and experiment a little. I go there at least once a month just to look around. They have a little restaurant in there that I want to try also.

Quality and selection has gone way down. Meat and Seafood Staff unfriendly with sour faces. Long Row of fresh baked items which was located adjacent to the Produce (Baked off site at Southern CA Bakeries)no longer there. I asked and Gentlemen said he took out. I do like the multi size frozen squid and fresh chicken hearts.

Nothing compares to this store. Many many items from all over the world you will not find in any other store. Not just food the kitchen tools and household section is really worth checking out. If you have never been to a market like this give yourself time to explore and read labels. You may find a new favorite food here.

Always great to see foods from different countries you wont find anywhere else. I was able to find a togarashi seasoning I was searching for, for about 10 years, also has recaito an ingredient my grandmother in Puerto Rico used in her beans, and lastly the durian fruit. Wont eat it yet, but one day I will try it!

Good/plenty options, only place with decent seafood options, however the quality is questionable, but not as questionable as the Mexican grocery stores out here. They have a good Vietnamese restaurant inside as well. A decent Asian market, I make regular runs about once a month to grab items I can only find here.
