I both love and hate buying cars. And this was no different. I had the excitement of new car smell in my blood as I thought the new acquisition. Then I had the strange pit in my stomach thinking of my trade, my credit, my future finances bla bla bla. We have all been there. Buying a car for some reason is like the most expensive pair of tight jeans you even own. It somehow defines and exposes all of who you are in one single moment. Poor, rich, responsible, wild, conservative, lazy, sporty. It all comes out for some reason by way of your car and the buying process. I started the whole deal with a week of Youtube reviews and other information gathering activities which culminated in long discussion about this sweet little Ford Escape. We had rented one a year ago so that obviously gave us a preview. We started the buying process with a local dealer in northern AZ. We drove the car and did the whole sit down. We left no deposit and walked out. Which I tend to do every time I buy a car as a matter of principle. This simple action fortifies my egotistical belief that I am not falling prey to some sales routine and have the self confidence and maturity to walk out of any deal. Moving on...and feeling good about things I began to poke around at inventory in a wider circle. Rodeo Ford had fair number of cars and I knew they had sister dealers to pull from. I was frustrated that my local dealer repeatedly affirmed I would pay some deliver/shipping fee since no cars were near by. That single comment was probably what sent me packing. At this point it was a numbers game, we had bought the car in our heads and it was go time. I found some coupons online (true car) and let them contact me. Two dealers came at me but the first didnt respond to my return emails. Morgan Grandy as Rodeo ford was prompt professional and started out with a "no bull" approach to getting the deal done. He accepted that a good deal was going to result in both parties leaving a little on the table. Which I certainly did and so did the store. The numbers were working and the car was exactly what my wife wanted so we were looking good. The best part of this and the part I have told his manager was; Morgan and the finance man Pete were very careful to under promise and over deliver. When I got into Petes office it was a better rate, a lower payment, and I didnt have to pad the deal from my pocket. What the heck was that. I was stunned. I felt like I better sign and run before the whole thing went dark on me. Strangely it was no ruse and my life and my ego were to remain in tact. I spent exactly 2 hrs in the dealer, and about 3 hrs invested in email back and forths with Morgan during the proceeding 2 days. Total time to be happy and drive off in our sweet new 2014 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0L = 5 hrs. Total time getting messed with = 0hrs. Not one moment of my time was wasted and at not one moment did I get the sense I was being played. Nice job Rodeo from the top-down to create a culture where customer relationships are as important or more then grabbing their money. If you want to buy a ford and want to do it painlessly and get a great deal go talk to Morgan and Pete at Rodeo Ford.

I cant tell you enough how great Rodeo Ford and its crew are. Morgan and Mark, the Salesmen we worked with were amazing. Top notch guys, that are readily available even on their days off. The sales manager Peter, is amazing. Not only did he get us financed on our vehicles but he got us connected with an insurance guy who dropped out rates by over $130 a month, more than $1500 a year. Now for my experience, We had went to Peoria Ford and traded in a vehicle on a new F150 XLT 4x4, they promised the financing would get done and let us take the vehicle home. Well, 4 weeks later we got a call and they said the 4.5% they got us at would actually be 9.9% and instead of 84 months financing they could only do 72 months. They told me this is good news but my payment would be $220 higher than what we had signed because of the change. Long story short, they got their truck back. Now, I went over to Rodeo just to look, and sure enough Mark and Morgan had me convinced that Rodeo good get something done. We had preapproval same day, fully approved through a credit union at 4.5% within next day. They didnt have the exact truck I wanted but they made a dealer trade and I got a F150 FX4 4x4. Not only did they get me approved at a lower interest rate through a credit union than Peoria ford, but they also sold me a higher up trim model for cheaper than Peoria Ford, oh and gave me more for my trade. Payment was not only $250 lower than Peorias 2nd offer, but $30 lower than their first. Peter the Sales Manager, fought hard with the banks. Hes amazing!!!! And he save me over $1500 a year on my car insurance. Sounds like a commercial, these guys are the real deal. Next, I was so pleased with my purchase on the F150, within a week my wife was talking about trading in her van for a different vehicle. We called up Morgan and he came in on his day off to meet us. They got us financed again, same day through a credit union for the new vehicle. Mark and Morgan finished the deal and met us for delivery. 2 car deals done within a week!!! Both funded!! It gets better, we were looking for a 0 down low payment lease for our family member that lives with us. Didnt think it would be possible, so I thought what the heck? Call Morgan? I called Morgan, he talked to Peter the sales manager to see what he thought and to see if anything would work. Peter and another sales manager were working hard on getting the best lease possible, working the numbers on a fiesta, a focus, and a fusion, even a couple purchase options on some low mileage lower price vehicles. Somehow these guys got it done, they delivered a brand new focus to our door, had us sign at home. Great accommodation, since we have twin 2 year olds. Even got us approved at Ford Motor Credit at an UNBELIEVABLE RATE. Conclusion, 3 Vehicles in 3 weeks Funded, Fiananced, Smokin Deals, Great Rates Great Guys, Lower Car insurance, Simply THE BEST!!!! And Peoria Ford couldnt even get me financed on one vehicle under 9.9%...Crazy!!!! You want the Best, See these guys at Rodeo Ford, an Earnhardt Dealer. Earnhardt has rapport with the best banks at the best rates. Thank you RODEO FORD!!!!!!!!!

Fast, friendly, courteous service, yes even with a smile.. Blew out tire on highway on my 2014 fusion. I went to check on cost and getting it installed. 198 out the door including road hazard warranty. I had to wait for tire, or I was given the option to take my vehicle with the mini spare if I needed and they could call me once tire was complete and just swap it once I got back. I thanked them, but let them know if wait, it was ok I had some work to take care of. They have complimentary WiFi. Good thing I did wait. In my haste I forgot to mention my battery that was failing to hold a charge. Its still under warranty so I wanted it taken care of. They caught it on the complimentary multipoint inspection. They replaced battery while I was waiting on tire. Very efficient, I did not need to reschedule or any of the sillyness Ive experienced bc at a different Ford dealer in central Phoenix. Unfortunately, I had no idea Rodeo Ford was just 2 miles from my home in Avondale, not 20 miles over to Camelback Ford. Personally, Im not going to go into everything that happened at Camelback Ford. I would encourage anyone considering doing business with those folks over there to just Google the name and reference complaints. In fairness to the good employees over there, yes they actually have some GREAT EMPLOYEES, unfortunately the systemic problem appears to be from the leadership position, top down, begining with the GM, Sales Manager, Finance, lets not forget the gal that handles collections, shes a very special kind of special to lazy to look up the two separate contract numbers I had. Evidently the finance manager committed fraud and filed both bc then showed I owed money still. Be sure to look at what is most currently going on. I was told they were cleaning up the challenges over there. I just ran out of patience after 2 years. Rodeo Ford has earned my business so far. I will bc see how it goes next week, oil change and the new tire for the other side. I actually dont expect any issues. She just told me call a day or two ahead of my desired time and tire will be in shop waiting. I did not get all the answer I may have liked, but I got something much better, the truth about my warranty, what bc is and isnt covered. Fast dependable service without telling me Id be out in 30 min and 5 hours later I am still there, like some shops do. Not at Rodeo Ford, you will only receive fair and accurate price quotes, and service time windows that are real and accurate, not fantasy. Thank You RODEO
