I like the shops and resturants at Westgate but what I dont like is the horrible traffic control anytime there is an event. The planners knew that the whole idea behind he complex was for the capacity to have sporting and other major events, but yet they have completely failed at designing a system for any type of actual traffic flow. I once arrived to the parking lot for an event an hour and a half early and still ended up being 5 minutes late due to the completely unorganized parking system and personnel. Why is it that everytime something is going on there has to be orange cones everywhere and people "directing" traffic? Why wasnt the facilty designed to just work as it is from the very beginning? Whoever was or is in charge of this complete failure should definiately consider a different line of work.

Lots of good food and fun to be had in this area, from Cold Stone & Johnny Rockets to Buffalo Wild Wings, Dave & Busters and the Yard House. McFaddens has decent food and just so happens to be right next door to Gila River Arena; plus you can see dancing water shows every half an hour or so. Therere a bunch of small shops and theres a large AMC Theatre lining the north side. The grounds also feature a beautiful mini-park/resting area with some waterspouts and more than sufficient lounging area thats equipped with the most comfortable chairs, couches, etc. So whether youre planning to head to concerts/other events, Coyotes games while theyre still in these parts) or just scoping out Westgates many offerings (especially good for a father & son/guys night out), theres plenty to do here.

I came here recently for a concert at the stadium. Frankly, this place kinda blew me away. First, its beutiful. So colorful and built in such an eye catching way. Plenty of food options and things to just sort of walk around and look at. If you are looking to go out and party, this seems a good place for that. There are some hotels right here at the place and the Cardinals play right next store at the stadium. When I was there for the concert the place was absolutely jumping with activity. I plan to come here again when I have more time and money. Yes, you will need money. But from appearances, it looks like youll get what you pay for. I will give a more detailed review after my next visit.

Mind you this is coming from someone thats past his prime.. The few times Ive been here its gotten progressively worse. The food options are at best mediocre, the music is so loud in some places that you literally can not hear the person next to you. Half the bars only serve alcohol so if your after good get there before 9:00p.m. or forget about it. 20 years ago I would of tore this place up and banned from coming back on the property like Mesa Riverview. Different time,Different review. So want a nice quiet relaxing dinner? Not here. Want to throwback a few drinks and have a constant ringing in your ears or the next three days. This is the place for you.

Was at conference this summer and ate there with people from my team. I had 2 quarts ice water poured down my back and on my things. I did not receive an apology from any of the staff. The manager and assistant manager watched the whole things. One of them came and gave the server towels. As I am drying out my belongings on a bench the other manager came by to tell me I needed to move them. (Not sure why as it is Phoenix in July and the restaurant was empty.) Horrible service! No beer to compensate. No dessert offered for my miserable experience of eating wet. No apology. No way would I ever go back. Too many other restaurants to eat at at Westgate.

Security sucks our car got broken into in the middle of a open parking lot with cameras 1/24/15 the security saw our car wide open with a broken window and he left it and didnt report it! We were away from the car for 30 minutes, when we got there we called the cops and 3 minutes before the cops got there here comes security, his first words were i saw that it was broken about 15 minutes ago so i was pissed he just left it without reporting it because after ours the cops said multiple other vehicles where broken into and if he reported it that could have been prevented

This place is a fantastic place to spend an evening. The people watching is as good as it gets. There is a huge selection of restaurants with great foods of all kinds. The Greek food is great (thanks Opa) theres good bbq, good burgers, pizza, frozen yogurt, and the list goes on. There are clubs with great music, and fountains that dance, even if you cant. There is a nice splash pad for families to play at, and a great movie theater. To top it off, its the home of the Coyotes and the Cardinals, so its a fantastic place to be on game day. Everything is here.

I love the Nike outlet store and the Wilsons leather. As far as Westgate goes, its just a bunch of chain restaurants n stores, which I find kinda boring. Dont get me wrong, some of those places can be nice for food and shopping. Its just that thats all there is to do there.(besides the movie theater) I think it would be a lot better if they had a pool hall,or a bowling alley,or something like that. They really need to put something there that is fun and entertaining. All it is is just food and shopping, which isnt all that exicitng to me.

This place is fun but it is hard to review since there are so many places to go. I took off a star overall because there are always creepy guys here which the businesses may or my not contribute too but its really annoying. Yardhouse is my favorite! The food is amazing. Really anything you try is great! And they have the most beer on tap. Piano house can be fun on the weekends but expect to pay a cover and wait a long time for drinks and a table if your late to the party. There is something for everyone here not just night life.

McFaddens... My wife and I just moved to Arizona. She speaks Japanese and has a heavy accent. Shortly after ordering she was evicted rudely by 4 security guys and two rent-a-cops. She was threatened with arrest when we asked "what happened". I thought they were joking at first. Seriously, she was so scared and confused, she cried all night about how scary and mean American security is. After I confronted security about the incident, it was confirmed that her accent made her "inebriated". Thanks for the great experience....

Plenty of great restaurants and sports shops provide plenty to do both before and after a Cardinals game, Coyotes game, or concert/event. We found the shops and cash parking lots to be especially helpful for a Cardinals game. Arrive early, take in the football game, then after the game head into a restaurant for dinner. You can have a nice meal while everyone else fights traffic. By the time dinner was over, traffic was out and we were driving away free and clear.

Do NOT give Westgate your business! I was hidden in the back alley nursing my 8 month old son and security (Smith) told me to cover up since I could "offend someone" (My son rips covers off and I am always very discreet when it comes to nursing). When I asked to speak to the supervisor, she told me I had to cover up since it is "private property." I asked if she wanted my business and she said "we want your business, but we dont want your business doing THAT."
