I am totally getting acquainted with one of my old stomping grounds that I gave up....my bff and I got sucked into the newness of The Boulevard. We drove by The Boulevard months back and saw the outside all new new. SO, we were like we have to come back and check it out. So we did. Since we are avid thrifters, we really got re-introduced to the mall once this HUGE Goodwill was put in where the old Dillards used to be. Simply a genius idea! After hours of thrifting, we wandered into the mall from there and began reminiscing of how better it is than what it used to be. Talk about a 360 turn around! High end restaurant, dance studio, museums, antique shop, 5D experience, live music, and tons of cool mom and pop shops mixed in with favorite corporate stores. This is truly a cool twist from you typical mall and why I am writing this review. We plan on going there more often to explore since we were pleasantly surprised of all we have been missing. Theres is no way to take it all in one day. We been talking about the next time we are going back- its turning in to our secret hangout spot. We were so in need for a change of pace! Keep up the great work Boulevard- your are on track to proof all the people who used to go there wrong! Yall are back!

Use to be a great mall to hang out in back in 06 or 07 but went downhill. They did remodel a lot of stuff, but they took Dillards away. There use to be a fountain in the middle which eventually was taken off and now its surrounded by mini stands or a big Christmas tree around that time of the year. Popular stores like Charlotte Russe or Forever21 were taken down and now are replaced by some Italian store for mens suit or old lady clothes that are just not fit for a teenagers taste. The food court sucks. There use be a McDonalds and a Panda Express but are now replaced by a bootleg version of Panda and a space that was never replaced. There also use to be a mini stand in the middle of the food court that sold smoothies and boba but it also got taken down. The only type of entertainment youll see is for little kids and thats it. If youre a chick, dont try shopping there because you wont find anything unless youre willing to shop at Sears, JC Penny, or Macys. Those are the only stores left that I can remember that have not been taken down.

There is nothing happy and fun about a Dying strip mall.... that said, my family and I went to specifically see the new aquarium there as it is better suited for hands-on with children as compared to the mandalay bay exhibit. Most stores here are closed, or going out of business. Hopefully a good revival of stores that fit local needs and prices can revitalize this travesty. This mall is in the not-so-great part of town, so do not be too overwhelmed if you feel like you are at a ghetto walmart or k-mart store. I did notice that a Goodwill store is here and the Dying Macys are now at 70% off storewide! We were reluctant to eat at the food court as first impressions do a lot for me. There is an indoor play area, but make sure your kids bathe in sanitizer afterwards. Victorias secret was my wifes saving grace, so it wasnt a total loss on this venture, and the kids had fun at the over priced aquarium (you buy $2.25 "tokens" that buy you fish food... 10 feeding stations + over $20.) Great place to make you appreciate what you have.

How times have changed... these reviews were written so long ago. I have lived here my whole life, (28 years) and I used to LOVE the Boulevard Mall. 4 years ago... that mall was definitely NOT "ghetto". Now, it is. Once the economy went down and Dillards closed, half of the big name brand shops moved out. Most of the shops in that mall are swapmeet shops. It makes me so sad. Even the food court could bring a tear to your eye. They used to have an amazing selection of name brand fast food places... now youre lucky if one place has a name that you know. They still have Macys and JCPenny, Victorias, and BBW, AND it is a peaceful shopping experience... but dont go there expecting half of what you see at the other malls in Vegas. They have tons of parking, if the main front lots are full you have to go around back... at night its kind of scary but theres tons of parking. Supposedly theyre under new management and trying to get more shops and upgrade the place so hopefully that works out. I loved that mall.

My whole life this mall was the one to goto. The best the most urban the greatest of all time. Now? So ran down and now the worst ever. I can finally afford to shop and theres not one realistic store. Now lids well i order for a pickup had to go to find out if the hat was there. It was. And not a brand new one like i had order especially. It was manipulated by the guy who sold it bent out of shape. And out of the package. Easily it was to see my brand new hat and only one on a shelf in wrapper right in front of me. But no he gave me the stores used garbage. Not only that. The strap was ripped and completely torn. Thanks new owner. For nothing and i thought moving closer to this place would be a great start. Its sad. Really. And everything worth buying or pretty much there are all knockoffs. I will never be going back. Grade F

This mall is probably the worst of the shopping options in Las Vegas, but it is by no means a dead mall. Although Macys and JCPenney have closed, theres still Sears and Marshalls, and the interior is about half national chains, half local shops. However, unlike other malls, the local shops here are actually interesting, and have stuff thats neat to look through. Its being converted into a more entertainment oriented destination too, with stuff like the aquarium and Johns Incredible. Id say no reason to make a special trip to this area to visit, but if youre already in the area its kind of a neat mall to check out. ***Some of the national stores remaining include Hot Topic, Foot Locker, Journeys, Old Navy, Victorias Secret, GNC, The Childrens Place, Bath & Body Works, Zumiez, Vitamin World, and Footaction.

Terrible new Administration and Security. On Saturday before Mothers Day my husband like weve always done, he drops me at JCP Salon and wait for me in the car comfortable, listening to music, texting...and after that we always go shop at the Mall. In this Saturday he was very rudely intimidated by a new security. "That guy thinks he has the right to do that he is wrong." The security threatened to my husband, until my husband asked to speak with the JCP manager about what happened. My husband was so outraged that our decision is never more to return there. It was where we started dating a long time ago, and we always go back for good memories, in spite were living in Summerlin.

I recently went shopping at the Boulevard Mall after class, and since the mall is right down the street from UNLV, it was convenient. I noticed right away that Lane Bryant was no longer there, and it was obvious that I couldnt find the store. Although the mall was given a face lift, its not the same. Most of my favorite stores (Icings by Claires, Forever 21, Fredricks of Hollywood, Payless Shoes and Dillards) either moved to another location, or permanently closed. Im thankful that the Meadows Mall is down the street from my apartment. At least some of my favorite store are located there. I dont want to go shopping at the Boulevard Mall again. It SUCKS!!!!
