There was only one thing about the experience that was good...the people were nice. However, the way my dog was treated was horrible. When we were leaving the store, my dog urinated in the doorway because she couldnt hold it any more...shes never done that before...ever. It was the longest pee Ive ever seen and while I was embarrassed at first, I was quickly feeling horrible for my dog. Also, she hadnt gone #2 in two days. The staff said they tried "really hard," but as soon as we found some sand/gravel not more than 100yards from the store, my dog was going #2. Later in the day, she went 2 more times. She also got almost no exercise even though we paid extra for "playtime." Their idea of exercise is putting several dogs together in a 30x30 room. I watched as other dogs were getting "exercise," and they were moping around and peeing all over the tile floor. It was pathetic and depressing for the poor dogs. The rest of their time there is spent in a cage.

I typically use this petsmart when my normal boarding place (Boulder Falls Pet Resort) is all booked up and the reason I am not a fan is because of the small kennels, which typically are all tile including the walls and have a metal gate and lack basic accommodations like dog beds or cots. What bothers me the most however is that unless you pay for doggie day camps, your dogs get two 15 minute indoor walks and a potty break every 4-5 hours which adds up to a disappointing 1-2 hours that they are not in the kennels. I have two pups one an older dog whos hearing and vison have gone down hill and in the few times I have to board them here they will refuse to go back with the handlers unless I go with them.... overall I do not recommend boarding your dogs here.

This store seems like it is always severely understaffed when I go here. 9 out of 10 times its takes at least 5 or more minutes aimlessly wandering the store looking for someone to help you. Today I waited to get feeder fish for over 20 minutes before I ended up leaving because the kid working that section would not help me. I had 2 people he helped that were there before me and I patiently waited for him to help them. After helping those people he helped 2 more people that just happened to walk up between us when I assumed he would come back to where I was standing, during this 20 minutes of waiting I was never once acknowledged by this staff member.

PetSmart has a great variety of pet supplies. PetSmart also has a large quantity of live fish available for sale. This location has a Grooming Center for your dog or cat. This location also has a veterinarian on duty for shots and checkups. This location also has a pet setting Department that you can leave your pet while on vacation. At this location the employee spend time with your pets so that they dont get lonesome. Private rooms are available for your pet but cost more than just the standard room with another animal nearby. This is a great store for all your pet needs.

I was really disappointed with my dogs last grooming appointment. In the past, he was always happy to see me when I picked him up, but he never seemed bothered by the process. This past time he couldnt get out of there fast enough; he was clearly upset. We got home before I realized the cause of his distress; they had cut him right by his privates. He wouldnt stop licking it and he wouldnt let me anywhere near the area. Its been a month and he has a pretty nasty scar there. I definitely wont be taking him back there...he doesnt even want to go in for treats or toys now.

Clean location. Decently priced large selection of dog and cat items. They also sell some reptiles, birds, and fish. Occasionally they have adopting dogs days. They have a pretty nice dog hotel as well as the Banfield vet office. Ive had my dogs nails cut here, it was cheap and they did a great job. My only qualm is that the cashiers are usually really slow and the place never has anyone around to help. We usually go during weeknights and never seems like we can get assistance around the store. Prices on most things are high compared to other places.

I think there is a virus or disease floating around their animals, Ive gotten two dwarf hamsters from them in the past and they both passed away within two months despite superb care. I also got a baby ball python from them and he also passed away for seemingly no reason. I will never get animals from this petsmart again. Ive gotten two other hamsters before I got the last three animals listed from the petsmart in Surprise off bell and grand and they are both still perfectly healthy. I do not recommend buying animals from this petsmart.

DONNOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE. I will never bring my dogs to another Petsmart. I had an appointment for haircuts and walked out. There was a lady being extremely aggressive to a husky she was brushing named Jackson. Pulling his head back and forth and being very rough. Yelling at him when it was completely unnecessary. The staff in grooming clearly hate their jobs and the lady who was supposed to groom my dogs, rolled her eyes when she was told she was grooming them. Go somewhere else.

I called ahead to make sure they had an item in Stock after speaking to a different store and being told they had it but really it was a different item. Chris found the item and put it on hold for me. When I got there to pick it up another employee, Lisa he led me out. Lisa was great! She was very knowledgeable and gave me lots of information to help me out. She also asked me to let her know how it goes and check back in with her. Great staff!

I have been going to PetSmart for years, and this is by far the best one yet. Yes the prices are a little more, but the selection makes up for it. I was able to find everything I needed and there were options. Everyone I encountered were friendly and able to answer questions. Having the pet hospital, grooming and hotel all at one location is a plus too. Im very happy to have this as my local store.

Every time I come here to get frog supplies I end up standing near the crickets like a total doinker waiting to be helped, then head out on a journey to find someone to help me get crickets only to find like 2 employees running this entire big store. This place desperately needs more employees it seems. This is the closest place to get crickets though so... Ill keep coming back.

Went here during the mid day on a Thursday and it was not busy. I wanted to get some help with seeing a animal and purchasing it. However I could not track down anyone available to assist me. I asked someone that worked in the vet area if they could page a petsmart employee to help me and they did... I stood by the pets for 20 minutes and nobody ever came. So I just left.

I came in not knowing anything about reptiles specifically snakes and I was more than an assisted with customer service. Emma was an amazing help, she was very knowledgeable and smart with pet product reccommendation choices. The cashier was very friendly also, and had great customer service also. I highly recommend this store!
