3 years ago we purchased our Morkie (yorkie/maltese mix) puppy for our daughters 5th birthday gift. the puppy was 1 lb, 12 oz when she was paid ($1800.00) absolutely adorable and our daughter was in love. the puppy was not immediately released to us after she was paid for in full, due to the employees stating that the puppy needed to have all of her vaccinations prior to being released to us. after getting her released to us about 1 week later, she developed this horrible cough, which our vet described as "kennel cough" and we were given medication for our puppy to take. the cough did eventually subside. on several occasions, over the past months we noticed our puppys weight fluctuate and she was becoming very picky with her food. so we assumed that she just got tired of her normal food and maybe wanted something different. so we changed her food....but that did not help. she would have days where she would have energy and days when she would just sleep. at our puppys last vet visit a few months ago, she weighed 4 lbs. on may 30, 2014 our puppy vomited about 3 times and ate little bits and drank water. she played a little, had a bath, and slept for most of the day, on may 31, 2014, we came home at about 6:30pm to find our puppy head pressing, vomiting, and struggling to walk around. we rushed her to 24 hour veterinary hospital and was informed that she had a birth defect called a portosystemic shunt which had become so advanced that there was nothing more that could be done to save her, so we made the difficult decision to put our "baby" down, so she could no longer suffer. at 9:25pm our puppy was put down...she weighed 3 lbs at the time of her passing. our daughter is heartbroken, and so is our family. I do believe that something was hidden from us regarding the true health of our puppy. I would not recommend anyone buy a puppy from puppies n love: arrowhead or any other location. I dont believe that after paying $1800.00 for a puppy, it should die in a matter of 3 short years. they claim to get their puppies from reputable breeders and I feel like that is untrue. now we are left with trying to pick up the pieces and help our now 8 year old deal with the unexpected death of her beloved puppy.

I recently purchased a puppy through this location at Arrowhead Mall. When going through the paperwork with the manager before paying over $1700 for my puppy she said he had a clean bill of health nothing wrong yet he had duke claws. Little did we know that 2 days later he would be at the vet with a horrible cough, runny nose, and green snot. Upon examination by our family vet, he was determined to have a severe cold, once the vet was reviewing the paperwork that this store gave us, he said that he not only was neutered at a shocking early age, but he also had hernia that had to be corrected. This was simply glanced over when the Puppies N Love store was reviewing all documents. I have spent over $400 on vet bills having to take him back to the vet multiple times, each time for something different. I have never had a dog that has had a cold or been as sick as this poor puppy. After doing research on the breeder that my puppy came from it was also found out that she has been barred from the AKC, and multiple other designations due to infractions (ie: puppy mill). This has been one of the worste experiences not only for myself but for family. My mom purchased a puppy the same day as mine, and hers had the same story as everyone else, yet 2 days after her purchase her puppy was diagnosed with Parvo. Puppies N Love stated that they would admit him to a hospital to get treated, later did we find out it was just an employee that took the puppy home and gave in home treatment. The puppy did NOT survive and it took us calling every day to get an update on his condition. We called back on a Monday to be told he past away the week prior?!? How can these type of things happen? It is very sad and I only hope that our story can stop these type of things from happening in the future. I wish I would have done my research before purchasing my puppy. Never again will I ever purchase from this or any other puppy store again. WE ARE STILL AWAITING OUR REIMBURSEMENT FOR OUR VET BILLS AS WELL.

My wife and I got married and wanted to add to our family. I always wanted a dog. We would spend hours talking about what kind of dog we wanted. Ive always wanted a English Bulldog and she always wanted a Golden Retriever. I have clients that get to volunteer at this store so I got the opportunity to get to know Christal. She knew how much Ive always wanted a English Bulldog. I love that fact that she was able to anwser all my questions I had about this type of dog. I love the fact that she loves her job and cares so much about the puppies. So, one night I texted Christal asking if she was working she replied back saying she was off of work. I told her that we were ready to get a puppy so, she met us at the store to help us find the perfect puppy for us. We looked at all kinds of puppies, my wife and kids feel in love with a Golden Retriever. Christal helped us with getting a loan and I got approved for the amount of a English Bulldog but we all knew that the Golden Retriever we saw and fell in love with was the perfect match for us. The one thing I loved about my experience is that Christal didnt pressure us into getting the most expensive puppy but helped us get the puppy at best fit my family. We couldnt be happier with the puppy we got! She also helped us get everything we needed for our October! Thank you Christal for the wonderful customer service and for being part of this experience.

My husband and I have been in this store a multitude of times. I have personally held many of the puppies on location. My husband and I already have the sweetest most affectionate King Charles Cavalier whom we got through a trusted breeder and colleague of my husband. We have been sitting on the idea of getting another puppy for a while now. But every time we went into the store, it didnt feel like the puppy was a good fit for our family. Until about three weeks ago, when we fell in love with a miniature dachshund whom last we heard, is about 2.4lbs. We have officially been waiting for her to come home for three weeks. During the second week of waiting we were informed she had been transferred to a vet location because of her rapid weight loss. I was in full understanding until I received no updates on her health as my husband and I had requested. She has now been at the vet for a little over a week. I have called, my husband has called many times. The store staff continues to give me excuses and I still havent a clue on the condition of my puppy. I am deeply upset and very angry with how the situation is being handled. I am also incredibly annoyed with the staff at Puppies N Love. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!
