Ive shopped at Michaels for custom framing many times in the past and have always been very, very satisfied. Which is why I continue to go back to them and the prices I pay for my prints are not cheap by any means. This is the first time however that Ive been to this location in Peoria and is the last time Ill go. They had two weeks to complete my order and when I called to verify if it was completed on the day my reciept said it would be ready the framer told me they hadnt even started on it yet. It was 4:30 pm but he promised me itd be done that night. Well time passed and no phone call. I called back the day after it was supposed to be finished and still they had not even started it. At the very, very least these people should call and tell their customers whats going on. Never was I informed and each time I called to check on the status the framing department acted like they could take as long as they wanted. I am very unhappy with the service Ive experienced here. Go to the Michales on Litchfield, they are much better to deal with and deliver results in the time they quote!

Went into find a certain jewelry repair piece and was looking down the isles. When all of a sudden a big girl came up to me, within inches of my face and said "what are you looking for?" I told her a certain closure for a key ring I am trying to fix, she pulled her keys out her pocket and said "one of these", I said no that is the actual key ring, I need to fix a dangle that hangs off it. She was rude and made me feel uncomfortable and kept getting super close to me, as she insisted that I needed help. I looked down the 2 isles of jewelry repair they had and left the store immediately. Didnt catch the girls name, but will never go in to this store again.... Way to go lady, great customer service.....

The staff is very helpful. I just started getting back into scrapbooking and crafting personal homemade gifts again and I had a lot of questions. They were very pleasant, assisted me in finding what I was looking for and had great suggestions. The prices are decent and store coupons are awesome too. Clearance and dollar bins are awesome ... perhaps too awesome I always spend more than I was planning on .. but the point is ...its all there and some! Nice people and nice place.

Worst customer service ever! Do not go to this Michaels. I have shopped at this Michaels a ton and never had a problem until I needed to return something. The store manager yelled at me inside and outside the store as I stayed very calm and not once raised my voice. I will never go back to this store again. I have never been treated so badly.

Poor customer service - every time! Never enough checkout stands open. Ive actually seen checkers leave their station (to go do something else NOT customer related) while there are 10 people standing in line. Hobby Lobby & JoAnns far and away exceed Michaels for customer service!

Its not the same. No one is ever around to help and my coupons were not applied right and the restroom is horrible. Sad to see, Ive been shopping there for years. Seriously thinking of taking a longer dive out of my way. Please read this and help.

I called to search for and confirm the availability of a product. Not only did they find the product (@ twice the expected $) but then told me about an online coupons for 50% off... Cant complain about that.
