Let me explain my recent experience with Best Buy: 1. We found a dishwasher online and Best Buy had it on sale. Could we order online? No! We had to go to the store. 2. In the store the salesboy told us that the dishwasher did not exist and that we couldnt buy it. Finally someone else figured it out. 3. We paid for the dishwasher on August 28 but our installation was set for two weeks in the future. 4. On Tuesday, September 10, someone came to install the dishwasher. He uninstalled the old one. When he went to his truck to unpack the new one, he discovered that the bottom of the dishwasher was bashed in and that door couldnt even open. So he reinstalled our old dishwasher and left. 5. We tried calling our local Best Buy, in Gilbert, Arizona. The people who answer the phones there are exceedingly unprofessional, saying such things as "Uh, could you hang on a second" and "Well, um, I could like write down your phone number and stuff." Seriously? Do you not train these people how to say, "May I please take a message"? 6. I could never get through to anyone at the store. A manager named Sean never called me back. My husband finally got through to him. 7. I called 888-BESTBUY. The lady told me that my new installation date was September 24. For a dishwasher that I bought on August 28! I told her that that was completely unacceptable and that if my dishwasher did not get installed in the next three days I was cancelling my order. 8. Dishwasher was scheduled to be installed on September 14. 9. On September 14 two installation guys came with an undamaged dishwasher. And no installation kit--no power cord, water hose, etc. 10. I tried four times on September 15 to call Sean, the manager of the Best Buy in Gilbert, Arizona. One time I left a message; three other times I hung up after being on hold for ages. I have still not spoken with him. 11. I called 888-BESTBUY this morning. They called the installation company. The installation company is supposed to call me to say when they are installing the dishwasher. I doubt they will. I am sure I will have to call them. The customer service in the Gilbert, Arizona store is unfathomably horrible. Not once did anyone even attempt to apologize or empathize or return my call.

I have always loved Best Buy but until recently when I bought the new 65" 8000 Samsung TV in Feb 2017 and I was unable to get any help! Samsung is putting out a product (2015-2016 model TVS) that have an issue with there firmware and it is causing the sound to go in and out when connected to devices (dvd players, etc). Anyway when I contacted Best Buy because they sold the defective product I was pretty much told I was SOL and to contact Samsung. Samsung is horrible customer service and they can barely understand you. UPDATE TV STILL NOT FIXED!!!! Not sure what happen with Samsung support or customer service but it is terrible! I bought a brand new 65" 8000 series tv from Best Buy in February of this year and over the last few months the sound started going out. Anyway I called Best Buy and of course since I didnt get the "extended protection" I was screwed when it came to them (not sure why since they sold the defective tv). So I turn to Samsung for my warranty info, that was a month and a half ago and still my tv doesnt WORK!!!! I have had Samsung techs come out and Samsung support email me and tell me "we are sorry sir, we are aware of the problem with the sound on your tv, you will have to wait until a firmware update comes out that fixes the sound issue". Everyday for the past month I call and I get someone in support who wont transfer me to Executive Customer Relations OR ECR just tells me they are waiting for the other dept blah blah blah!!! Again Samsung is horrible, if anyone else has this issue I would contact an attorney and sue there ass for selling a defective product and not honoring the warranty, I know I am next week if the morons over there dont help me! I hope a ton of people share this because it could help someone else from being defrauded by Samsung.

I had a very poor experience with Best Buy in the past and swore I would never shop there again. My wife talked me into giving them another chance and I have had a few great experiences with them but recently that made it back onto my bad list. I called to see if they had any Ipad Minis in stock as I am looking to buy one for my Daughter for Christmas. They were out of stock but the rep told me that they had a shipment coming in that same day only they were not allowed to stock the merchandise until after hours. It was recommended that I come in first thing in the morning. I have a sick child that I was up with most of the night but I still got myself up early so I could make sure I was there at 8:00 AM when they open to get the Ipad Mini. Once there, I am told that their shipment came in the day before as I was told but they put the merchandise out and sold out really quick. So, I was told that they were not allowed to put it out until after hours and I would have to come in early in the morning when in fact they released everything shortly after my phone call to them and sold out. I explained to the rep what I had been told the day before and he said yeah, they werent supposed to release the merchandise until after hours but someone decided to and they sold out, sorry. Yeah, you are sorry, I am so sick of apathetic attitudes towards customer service. Is my time not valueable, does your organization just not know how to communicate properly, does it really need to be this difficult for me to do business with you?

If I could give this a negative score I would. My mother in law went into this store and bought a fridge, oven/stove, dish washer and more. We PAID for delivery,INSTALL, and removal of old units. When the day before the estimated delivery date came, they called my mother and told her that they will deliver the items but not intall or remove old items (after we paid for them. Keep your recipe guys they will pull fast ones) my mother explains that that is not what was ordered and we would like this taken care of. Manger Rod "Store Manager" looked into the situation and the sales rep that we placed the order thru and I quote from the manager "he put his own address for the install but set your address for the delivery" (Anyone else think that sounds like the dumbest thing ever heard???) but so on my mother continued to talk with the manager to get this figured out and all he told us was "sorry nothing I can do" We ended up canceling the whole order and they tried to refund only the items and not all the other mark ups they charged us for (warranty,delivery,intall,removal). Still waiting on refund so we will see if they can do that correctly... Over all a super bad experience and we canceled our elite cards and will never shop there again. And for anyone who reads the reviews...SEARS beat their price on everything AND gives you customer service.
