So far I have had two systems built by Prime Systems, and I will always return to them for more. Why? They genuinely care, treat me with honesty rather than looking at me as though I was a "number", and take the time needed to get the job done right. I was surprised to read some of the negative comments below, as my visits have been nothing short of fantastic. For example, this describes my visit this past week: I was having an issue with my WiFi Internet signal dropping frequently, so took my computer in. Aaron helped me, knowing his stuff quickly figured out the problem; I just My WiFi Adapter was going out and I needed a new one that could accommodate my recently upgraded Internet Speed/Equipment. His crew installed it then and there, I paid, and went home now able to utilize the faster speeds. Then I got a call from Aaron. He informed me that because I was still under warranty I actually did not need to pay for Labor, or the full price of the new Adapter. I paid $60, and he said they were only going to charge me $25, and I could come in to receive my refund. They didnt have to do that. That is customer focused honesty, and it is rare to find these days. Going in, Aaron and I started chatting about what I use my computer for, and he told me about the new faster Solid State Drives, which increases my computers speed ten-fold and would make my job much easier with Graphic Design. I told him I was interested, but could not afford to lose my computer for an extended amount of time. "No Problem" he replied, and setup a time that he would personally install the new equipment in one day. I now have that installed and designing goes SO fast! Aaron took the time to find out what my needs were, so I was able to get to most out of my equipment, and my gosh what a difference it has made. I dont often write reviews, but in light of this situation of going above and beyond it is well deserved. Thank you Aaron and Prime Systems. Two thumbs and this guy are one happy customer, and you have my business for life.

I have read some of the reviews and it is unfortunate some of the individuals have had a bad experience because that is not the experience I have had. I have known of and gone to Prime Systems for various things the past 6 yrs. When you walk in you will notice ALOT of computers stacked here and there as they are a VERY busy store. Their prices are competitive and I have had to wait a bit at times but that is because once again they are a very busy store. But nothing out of the ordinary -- I have waited longer in lines at Walmart. The customer service has always been outstanding. I am not real good on the computer terminology and they listen and are able to know exactly what is going. Alot of times I will bring in a part I think it bad for them to look at and they have tested it on the spot and most of the time havent charged me. I have observed them helping other customers and it appears to me they want to resolve every concern the customer has before they leave. Does that take more time? YES -- but it also means you arent given the quick answer with no thought behind it and you dont leave unsatisfied. Great store -- great philosophy -- great customer service! And most important -- great service (they wouldnt be supplying alot of clinics, school districts, businesses, and home pcs if they didnt!)

Ill preface this with saying that I used them years ago and they were wonderful. This time has been incredibly frustrating. They failed to return portions of my computer to me, which ended up costing me another week-and-a-half of frustration before I figured out what was wrong. When I called about it, they were incredibly rude. When I realized there was an additional piece that was never returned to me, I chose to just buy it online rather than ever stepping foot in that store again. No apologies, just attitude. Sadly, the piece I purchased online didnt fit. Really, what sort of technician takes pieces off a computer and doesnt put them back? Im shocked and furious by how much time that one stupid decision has cost me. Left me thinking my computer had crashed again initially, and now it just randomly stops because my hard drive keeps popping out of place. So, I unscrew the back, pop it back in, and continue the search to replace a piece that I had when it went into them!! They may as well have just smashed my computer with a hammer. It would have helped just as much and cost me less.

Prime Systems is just what you want in a computer store. They have top-of-the line equipment and high-quality people. Keith and his employees are very knowledgeable, but their expertise isnt intimidating for folks like me who dont talk computer. They truly care about their customers and their community, and they are good communicators. They have ready answers to most questions, and they are willing to find answers to other questions when they dont know immediately what to recommend. Recently my wife and I went to Keith with questions about a new laptop that would run certain complex programs. He went more than the extra mIle. He did some research for us and then found just what we needed. If we would have gone to a big-box store, we probably would have ended up purchasing a less-than-satisfactory machine. Keith took the time to find what we really needed, and he gave us a great price. In addition to seling computers, Prime Systems has a great repair shop. The techs are trustworthy and knowledgeable. Im grateful for their help.

Not a huge store for inventory, but they can order any product you want. Although, my biggest complaint about Prime Systems is their lack of assisting people. IE. I have been in there numerous times to talk to the technicians (receptionists have no idea what they have in stock, btw) and sat in the middle of the store, while numerous employees walk past me back and forth, while NEVER asking what I needed, or if I needed help, or even a simple Hi. Not even the receptionist/cashier lady. And because of this fact alone (which has happened more than 1x, maybe 4-5 times actually), I actually moved business to PC Laptops. Prime Systems, you really do need to train your employees better to ask people if they need help. And the worst part is, those aforementioned employees saw me walk in and did nothing about greeting me or asking if I needed help, while I had my arms folded and while I was staring right at them. nothing....

I bought a custom desktop computer from them 2 1/2 years ago. I was an average build, nothing fancy. They have stood behind it like no other company. I had a problem with the DVD burner, I broght it to them and they replaced the burner, hard drive AND motherboard to fix it, apparently the motherboard was send the wrong voltage to the drives and both were having problems. I even ended up with a better DVD drive than before. Their staff is very knowlegable, even the secretary knows a lot about computers. I called recently with and endless loop shutdown, she knew what the problem was (AVG had a bad update) and walked me through the repair. Then a tech called me to make sure it was fixed, even though technically it was a software problem and not a problem with their computer. I would highly recommend them.I live in West Jordan, about 40 miles away. I went there on a recomendation of a friend, and have not regretted it since.
