My favorite healthy pet supply shop is located in Phoenix and 30 minutes away from where I live so I was told to visit Sunflower Pet Supply since it is only about 10 minutes away. I was sadly disappointed. The store is very very tiny, but somehow almost feels like a combination of a boutique and a warehouse. Nothing is really organized, they dont carry very many brands at all, and of course didnt have the brand my dog eats. Since there is so little options, this place is not great for someone who needs a variety of healthy grain free foods in all different price ranges. It is a step-up from Petco and Petsmart but still just disappointing. Im sticking to my natural pet supply store in Phoenix called Wag N Wash.

Im not sure who wrote the previous reviews (May 3 and Dec 10) but neither is accurate. Ive never had a problem getting pricing over the phone or in person. Theyve given me samples to try out before purchasing. The owner is helpful and when her staff doesnt have the answers, they dont make anything up, either. As for May 3 and Dec 9, go to Wag n Wash, Bark Avenue, or Pet Club if thats what you want (or where you work), they are all fine franchises. Ive been going to Sunflower since they opened and will continue to do so.

I wont be shopping at Sunflower Pet Supply any more. The owner told me she doesnt support churches before she even let me explain what I wanted and who I was. I will take my business to Tempe Feed and Tack in north Tempe. Its sad, I like to support local businesses in SouthTempe where our family lives but it wont be at Sunflower Pet Supply. Ill be sure to tell our friends, neighbors, and co-workers all who live in South Tempe and West Chandler.

I have been purchasing dog food for my GSD from Sunflower for a while now. I was referred to Beth, the owner, by my vet whose opinion I respect. Beth is really knowledgeable and friendly. Shell take the time to help you select food for your dog(s) and will give you suggestions as to what might work well for them.

Wonderful independent store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about all of the products. And the products are high quality, much better than any of the big chains. They truly care and want to help. Their prices are better too!

A nice variety of grain / junk free pet foods and supplements. Staff is knowledgeable and kind. They carry many of the brand and flavors with the low phosphorus levels I am seeking for my poor kitty with renal failure.

This is a great little store, Beth, the owner, is very caring and knowledgeable about pet care and pet food. They only carry the best quality dog and cat food, you will not find alpo here!!!
