In case you dont read my entire review, its not about customer service, its about the health of my eyes!!! When I came in the door the assistant there and the sales guy asked me what I would be needing. I said I only wear contacts and needed a new prescription. Assistant very firmly said the Dr required glasses whether I got contacts or not. She said I could buy contacts from them though.. I said 1800contacts was the only supplier I used (just being honest).. Sure enough, Dr finds multiple reasons why I cannot wear contacts for 6 months, maybe never again. Im not saying that he was not being honest but pretty ironic. (I will be getting a second opinion). Im both near and far sided. Since he refused to test my eyes for contacts and I wouldnt get my glasses until minimum 2 weeks, how would I see to do anything? Update: Today I had another exam done by a reputable optometrist. I asked her if I had the serious issues this optometrist had stated that would keep me from wearing contacts for @ least six months or maybe forever. She said there were NO ISSUES OF ANY KIND, in fact "healthy eyes" to be exact, including what Stantons optometrist stated. Stantons is in the EYEWEAR SELLING BUSINESS its obvious. I will pay $159 vs $45 any day for honesty about the health of my eyes!! #STANTANOPTICALNOMORE

Just in case nobody reads my long review. I would love to personally thank Mrs. Michelle at the airport location because she did everything she could to make my experience the best one and you are getting a big hug when I come and get my other glasses. You are the best Mrs. Michelle!!!! Thank you for everything. You were a big blessing to me. I had the best experience with Stanton Optical. I did the free eye exam with two pairs of glasses, but when I got there and saw that there wasnt much to choose from I chose two pairs of the same glasses. They ordered them for me but when I finally got them like a week and a half later which was actually a lot faster than I thought they would come. I tried my glasses on and I saw that those particular glasses just werent for me. I would personally like to thank Michelle who works there because she helped me in every way she could. She always had a nice attitude about everything and she took me over to the glasses and helped me find a pair that were my style and fit me better and traded one of my pairs since they were the same. Mrs. Michelle you are the best and thats why I come to Stanton Optical.

My mother and I went to the store thinking that we were taking advantage of the 2 pair for $79. They led my mother on thinking that that is what she was going to pay for each of us. After we got the eye exams our total bill for two exams and four pair of glasses was $610. Then they tried to talk my mom into buying them even though we did not have to. Then after my mom wanted a refund, they refused to give her one and then she tried to give her a discount, which means the glasses were still a total of $450. Which is nowhere near the estimated price. I was deeply disturbed by the way they forced her into to something she wasnt sure of purchasing. If I had a chance I would have not even made an appointment. Im sad to say that someone recommended them to me. Worse decision ever. My mom has a total of three children there is no way she can afford paying $600 every time we come to the doctor. My brothers will be going somewhere else. Id rather go blind than pay those prices.

They tried desperately to up-sell us to the extreme. We thought we were going to have a bill of $500 walking out of there (with insurance). Come to find out, they had added all these extra items that were not covered by insurance. My husband was told he would have to come in for a "consult" before they would release his prescription for contacts. We went ahead and got glasses. He was not told of any time limit on this "consult." He called several times to get his prescription, but each time he was told the dr wasnt there, so he would have to call back later. After 2 months, his time has run out and because he didnt get his "consult" sooner then we have to get a whole new eye exam (not covered by insurance). I have never written a bad review for any business, but this place has just really frustrated us.

Literally the worst and most unprofessional place ever! Took forever to get my contacts and glasses so I was getting a refund after I paid in cash and the glasses they didnt even come in yet the lady tried to make me pay for and I never received them(scammers) then they said they will have to send me out a corporate check which will take 21 days its been 21 days and now they are saying it will take another 2 weeks after they took my cash in seconds and dont call customer service because they will definitely give you the run around! THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS! I WILL NEVER SPEND MY MONEY IN THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN! AND I STILL HAVENT RECIEVED MY REFUND!

Sorry, but I have to give this place a thumbs down. The only benefit is that they have good prices. However, as they say, "you get what you pay for." The staff is also questionable. My experience there was a rude one. The staff seemed more interested in talking with each other than helping me. Also, I ordered a pair of glasses but when they came in, they did not fit right. So, I took them to the store for adjusting. The lady did (grudgingly) adjust them, but Im not sure what she did because they were no different when she gave them back to me. I am unable to wear these glasses and am now having to shop somewhere else for a new pair.

I visited Stanton Optical on Thursday 24, 2015 and was completely disappointed. The first staff person that did my screening was very nice and professional. It was down hill from there. It appears there is not a steady doctor at the store nor a supervisor. I first witnessed a staff member Olivia be rude to an elderly customer who was asking about their services. I unfortunately got Olivia to complete my visit, she has no IP skills and the rest of the staff ran around the store like kids. Horrible experience. Stacy Hearn

I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly as well as the doctor. The staff acknowledged and assisted me immediately upon entering the store! Wow, now thats awesome customer service. The doctor was great, he was very nice and down to earth! He didnt make me struggle to see the words or force me into pupil dilation as other doctors have done to me in the past. The exam was quick and efficient. I can see very well now, perfect actually ! I would highly recommend Stanton Optical based upon my service today.

The worst experience ever. Waited two weeks for my first pair to come in and they were wrong. They both finally came in and they were not exactly the right perscription for my eyes. Its been a little over a year now and the coating on both pair look like a rainbow. I will go next week to buy me a new pair from a reputable company. After Stanton post: Are you kidding me? I went over and over with you guys at Stanton. The most unprofessional bunch of jerks I have ever dealt with. Not No but Hell No...
