I am writing this review to save others from the same anger and frustration that I have experienced with Wilsons Jewelers. Since the birth of our daughter in September 2011 my wife has not been able to wear her engagement ring and wedding band due to the fact that she has developed an allergy to white gold and it breaks her finger out. So going to Wilsons on a referral I asked them if there was anything they could do to help with the situation. So they suggested rhodium plating the inside of the ring, this we both agreed on and the process was done which took about 7-8 days to get returned to me. Within less than 48 hours my wife called me from Florida where she had driven the day before, and told me that a diamond had fallen out of her ring. This was odd I thought as she had only been riding in the car and checked in to a hotel room not digging in the garden or something of that nature. So I went up to Wilsons with the ring upon my wifes return from Florida on Monday and it was made known to me that it was nothing that they had done it was obviously something my wife had done to make the stone fall out. So a price of $600 was quoted to me to replace the stone as Wilsons denied any part of causing this to happen and did not even make an attempt to help make it right with me to keep a customer. So I reluctantly went along with the deal with Rebecca (who has the personality of a wild badger) just so I could give my wife her rings back. Upon receiving her rings, I noticed the very stone that was replaced was LOOSE!!! AND it was visibly smaller to the unaided eye!! So, I left from there and went straight to Kirkland Jewelers just around the corner from them and learned that there was a crack in the engagement ring, the diamond that was replaced was a full millimeter smaller by measurement in length and a half millimeter smaller in width. After Jason inspected it some more he found 10 stones in all that were loose on the engagement ring and wedding band!! So I went back to Wilsons and had Rebecca remove her diamond from the ring, (she broke 3 prongs in doing so) and took the ring back to Kirklands where the damage from Wilsons is upwards of $1,000 possibly more, as I havent gotten the total estimate back yet. Upon speaking with Rebecca she claimed that the person who constructed the ring was to blame for it cracking, but I find that strange as they have been the caretakers of the ring for the past 2 years. These people are as unprofessional as they come at Wilsons, dont waste your time or money, and save yourself tons of anger and frustration, just go to Kirklands.

I bought my wifes engagement ring from Wilson Jewelers about 7 years ago and at that time I recieved excellent service. Just recently one of the diamonds in the ring fell out and I told her to use Wilsons to get it fixed because of my previous experience with them. What a mistake... She has been trying to get a simple estimate to submit to the insurance company for two weeks. Each time we call to inquire about it we recieve the same old story... They will leave a message for Rebbeca (who they tell me is the owner) and have her call me back. We have left "three" messages and no one has ever returned our call to update us on the situation. This morning I called again to check on the status and asked to talk to the owner or manager. The lady I was talking with immediately got defensive and rude, and asked me where I was calling from... I asked her for her name and she tired to avoid it by asking me my name, even though I had already given it to her. Im in the military and have been to a lot of different jewelers, and this is by far the worst service that I have recieved. I was going out of my way to give my business to them, what a mistake. I will never attempt to use this jeweler again and hopefully you dont make the same mistake. Thanks for reading.

I brought in a size 8 yellow gold and white gold ring that broke in one spot and needed to be soldered back together. The lady told me it would take about a week, theyd call me when it came in. Seven days later I called to find out if it was in yet and was told, rather rudely, that it had been there for 5 days already!! When I went to pick it up I waited almost 15 minutes before someone finally asked if they could help me. When she brought out my ring (that took 10 minutes to find) I was shocked!! It was SOLID yellow gold (they sprayed over the white gold areas), the spot that was soldered looked rippled and they had sized it to a 9!!! Her response? "Oh, well it looks brand new now". Ive had my ring back for just over a week now and it broke this morning in the exact same spot they "fixed" it!!! Their offer?? To let their repair person take another shot at fixing it!!! I spoke to 3 other jewelry repair shops today who told me Im looking at around $100 to have what they messed up repaired!! Go somewhere else!

Ive had many pieces of jewelry from Wilsons. Necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings & watches. I get so many wonderful comments on my engagement ring and wedding band! Customer service is always great. We were very undecisive when it came to my rings but they helped us find something that was original yet classic and we couldnt be happier. I have several friends and family members that use them as well and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend them.

Im new to the market and was trying to learn. They sold me a white gold plated ring as true white gold, one of the stones is loose and they were over a week behind in the repair I needed done. Also, the customer service was cordial, but returning calls and giving accurate information is apparently not their specialty. I do not recommend.
