Silvertowne has outstanding customer service, pricing is reasonable over spot, sleeved coins are sold based on chart value, collector supplies reasonably priced, and they pay silver spot pricing minus a reasonable fee for silver coins/bars/collectables and not the scrap pricing you find in pawn stores and such. One might find better pricing on some silver in some places, that is usually due to seller ignorance and/or buyer rapaciousness. You will always get a fair price here. This is not private sales, but a commercial business and as those go, this is the best deal you will find for your silver. They are a nationally known company and they guard their reputation with good business practices.

Nice store; definitely a fun place to go and browse for hours if youre into coins. Prices arent bad either, though, Id go and pick the coins yourself -- Ive been a bit disappointed by coins Ive bought from here via their website a couple of times now. Ive also found their customer service people to be a bit hard to deal with over the telephone (and even just rude at times)! Definitely someplace best to visit yourself if possible.

They have completely eliminated all non silver coins and all silver coins under the $1 denomination, as well as their jewelry, and basically are more into the bullion business than the coin collecting business anymore. Will no longer be buying anything from them since I collect coins and not bullion. The antique malls and stores have better selections and prices anyway.
