Wont go to this location again. I dont like being bombarded right when I open the door by someone with an iPad saying "maam, what are you here for today?".. jeeze, let me walk completely thru the door first, please. I waited 20 minutes simply to return a Kate Spade iPhone case that I didnt need. They were not busy at all, had 4 sales associates on the floor and they all seemed to be conveniently taking their time doing something else.. The girl that finally helped me looked at my license (Huntsville, AL), read the receipt (Cullman, AL) and since I was returning the item to the Decatur store, I guess she felt it necessary to ask me if I was "all over the place".. ? None of your business. Yes, I do travel often, my boyfriend lives in Cullman, I work in Huntsville.. what does it matter? I want to return the item that Ive been waiting almost thirty minutes now to return. She said "oh, I wont have $50 from this drawer to give you, the drawer is short".. ok? Go to another register that has enough money in it. That would only make sense. Long story short, after trying to return a $45 Kate Spade phone case, I waited ALMOST AN HOUR all for the girl to pry into my business & tell me she would have to have Verizon MAIL ME A CHECK.. what the?! My time is precious, just as is theirs. Finally, I just said okay, Ive waited here long enough, just give me my receipt, and I left.. Good gravy! Not very competent folks at this store. Go elsewhere.

I purchased a Verizon prepaid at Wal Mart. Called Verizon Decatur to have it activated because I wanted to port (keep) my existing number. Verizon first told me to take my phone back to Walmart and drive down to Decatur so they could sell me a phone. Offered me a $100 store credit, which amounts to charging me $200 for a $12 phone and giving me $100 off. I declined. Never could activate my phone. I called Verizon in Decatur a second time to try to activate the new Verizon phone. Guy asked why I bought a Verizon phone at Wal Mart. I should have driven to the Verizon store and bought a phone. Then he said the Verizon phones bought at Wal Mart cannot be activated. I suggested that someone should file a federal class action lawsuit against Verizon and Walmart for selling millions of Verizon phones which cannot be activated. Also, it probably amounts to coercion to refuse to activate a Verizon phone because it was purchased elsewhere. I understand the Verizon store not making money on Wal Mart phones, but somewhere, someone at Verizon authorized Wal Mart to sell Verizon phones. They cannot now tell customers that the new Verizon phones cannot be activated just because they were purchased somewhere else. What a fraud. Of course, they can be activated. Verizon phones are purchased at Wal Mart thousands of times every day and activated. Deborah C. Silverton, Esq.

I would give negative stars if possible! My Droid 4 battery was running down daily ~10 months ago (everything else fine); talked to them & they sent me to their "authorized service" Batteries Plus to have the battery replaced for $40. Batteries Plus pulled the old battery, and then the phone ceased working completely. Verizon would not take the non-functioning phone on trade in or credit, & sold me a new Droid MAXX2 for ~$400 since there was no other option. The MAXX2 is poor quality & I wanted to trade it in on something else, but now Verizon says the value of this 10-month-old phone (that they still sell) is only $54! What a racket - I will find any other option than these guys ...

Perfect Experience. Ryan helped me and he was very patient. More importantly.. Honest, he didnt try to over sell me on things that we didnt need. Took the time to explain everything to my grandmother. Request him... he will get you in and out and take care of you and your needs. I would bet money that all these other people that complained are still Verizon customers. Go to T-Mobile, Go to ATT... enjoy your dropped calls and lack of cellular connection. Its not a bad thing for people to ask you about your day to make small talk. Why not have someone greet you when you walk in the store? What are your going to do in the store without a Rep anyway? Nothing!

I was lied to by customer service two times in one day. First when I called customer service they said I could upgrade my phone but would have to check with the store about the value of my old phone. I went to the store and they told me only CSRs could move the upgrade date,17 days mind you. So I called while in the store and the CSRs said they could not move my date only managers of stores were allowed. This is my 2nd bad experience with these people I guess OFF to T-Mobile I go. They are doing a buy out your contract anyway.

first I would like to say to Ashley your review is crazy! first your upset because they greet you as soon as you come in then mad when they give you space? and I am sure the associate was simply making conversation, get over yourself. some customers you just can not make happy. These associates are ready to help you and always friendly! no problem is to small or to big. great team and they will take all the time in the world with you. I would not wanna go anywhere else.

It it was possible tp give as NEGATIVE STARS RATING, I would! I had the misfortune of getting waited on by Kwanza and Krystal today. WHY does it take one person to frown and type into the computer while another person stands and watches? I spoke to the manager, Douglas, and he apologized for my experience; however, I wanted to let you know if you have ANY OTHER OPTION for using a Verizon store, USE IT! Dont go to this store!!!

The employees along with the manager making fun of a disabeled young girl is horrible. I hope you all lose your jobs. Taking pics of her , laughing, pointing, then for the manager to refuse to give names. The district office needs to ck into this about violating her rights. Sounds like a hate crime to me.

Bad customer service!!! How can this store have sales people not wanting to help a customer and yet they try to get Smart about a problem you have with a brand new phone saying that theres nothing wrong when you clearly see 3 dead Pixals in the middle of the screen!!!!

The store is always clean and you are greeted at the door and assigned an associate. Only on busy days does that become a problem because you may have to wait for an associate to become free. They have not satisfied problems to my complete satisfaction but they do try.

Worst experience I ever had with any carrier. Amanda (assistant manager) would not correct their error. Proposed an alternative plan & promised to follow up on 12/1/16. As of 12/6/16 still no contact. She and Verizon are not at all customer concerned.

Did not realize how much I depended on my cell phone to help me out until I broke my cell phone. I was freaking out but Jorge totally saved the day! I have been in the store many times and have never had a bad experience.
