My husband and I went in for his upgrade in early September, for the Galaxy S7 Edge. At first, we were pleasantly surprised with the Tristan Changs knowledge and ability to obtain the last available model in store for us (who knows now, though). Then, we were pitched on two running promos in store, the second being a tablet device, with access to movie streaming, including movies in theater, for only $10/month. If we chose to cancel, phones or tablet, we would be charged a $50 restocking fee- that was clear to us. Trident was the only employee in house for some of the time, flanked by another gentleman for a gfew hours thereafter....6 hours later we finally walked out of store near closing time with our new phones and this assumably awesome tablet and movie access. Get home, charge the device, and it is absolutely the worst device imaginable. Slow to load, atrocious connectivity to WiFi which somehow used an entire gig of data in an hour, and turns out that awesome movie access....an illegal application that our salesman downloaded while we waited for our contacts/photos/etc. to be transferred over ins tore. We returned immediately the next morning (a Sunday) to return the device and to express our extreme dissatisfaction about the premise with which the device was pitched to us. Tristan was working at another store, but the gentleman present assisted in receiving the device and removing it from our account as to not incur the $10 monthly fee. We were told that Tristan would follow up with us by phone, however he did not (On top of that, the device was not actually removed correctly from plan which lead to an hour long hold during the height of Iphone7 release to remove the device with an actual Verizon rep). We returned on our own to address Tristan and were generally dismissed. He indicated that he would have to check with his boss (although he claimed to be store manager) on whether he could waive the restocking fee and whether or not he could provide us with the ACTUAL promotion for the Samsung phone (the VR glasses) and that he would return our call. Well, it is now almost 2 months later and we have not only not received a call back....we have now incurred a $175 early termination fee for a number that was associated with the tablet pitch, along with a $40 activation fee for said device on our Verizon bill. The entire experience was a complete facade, one which we had moved on from as we welcomed our first child the week after incident, but now have to bring to the attention of all potential customers. This establishment is obviously out to get a sale at all costs and does not own up to its shady practices. DO NOT SHOP HERE- go to an actual Verizon establishment rather than a business moonlighting as one for a profit. They are doing a disservice to the Verizon name and have tarnished the reputation the service has had with me as customer for over ten years.
Edit: Service has sloped downhill in recent months. From what i gather, this is not the fault of the customer service/sales associates. A shame. May need to stop going here now that they pretty much cant help me with anything. Love the staff. Very helpful. Highly recommended.
This the best verizon store in this area. The serves in done with a smile and a knowlege of the products they sell, and they always will tell you about the contracts without pressing you to buy the most expenseve one. The customer serves is above any I have ever see.
I have been going to this store for years and keep coming back. The service and help are EXCELLENT, people working there are fantastic, you always get the help you need. This is the store to go!!! service in other Verizon stores is not the same.
This is the BEST store to go to. Everyone is very professional and knowledgeable about the phones and services. Kid friendly and they never rush you. They also match pricing to online so you always get the best deals.
