Overall, not bad. They have most of the things I need and most of the people have been very helpful. I gave three stars though because of an instance recently when I wanted to try a massaging recliner that was on sale and the woman at the middle of the store customer service told me that they couldnt plug it in. I asked why and she said there were no outlets near it. I reminded her that they did sell extension cords there, but she said they didnt have any. I asked if a manager could come over and she said theyd tell me the same thing. So, I got a manager and he gladly plugged in the chair for me and the other 7 customers waiting to test the massaging/heating part of the chair. I dont know who this woman thinks she is (middle aged, short blond hair, mom-type), but who would spend $300 on a chair with electric massaging/heating components without testing it out first. Turns out the chair was actually not very good, but at least I got to test it. Thank you to the manager who came over and did the right thing. Shame on that "customer service" lady who really just needs to NOT interact with the public if shes going to offer no help and act completely illogical and useless.

This Menards has a grocery section now, though I dont know who would buy their food from Menards in the first place. Because of this, you are no longer allowed to bring your furry friends into the store. I wish they would focus on being a more of a home improvement store and less like Wal Mart with cheap crap and now groceries. Meanwhile my sidekick and I will be conducting our home improvement business across the street at Lowes where service and non service dogs are welcomed. If you are not a dog person or do not take your dog with you everywhere, then I would say this store is OK. Nothing special, just OK

The last time I was there buying lumber I could not access the piece I needed because it was below a high pile. I tried to ask for help, but was told they dont help with low price pieces. I ended up having to move all the pieces and ended up cutting my hand in the process. When I contacted customer service, was basically told tough luck. Having spent thousands there over the years I am very disappointed. Go to store that actually cares about customer safety. I know I will.

This is my go-to store for home improvement supplies, etc. Almost all the time when I am buying things that go into walls, or covering wood - I dont need a name brand. I just need paint for the deck, a door lock, a box of screws, weed killer, quart of oil, etc - this is the first place I shop. There is a Lowes just down the street, but I will go there only if this Menards does not have what I need. Also, Mr Luke Pettijohn is their best employee!

The staff has absolutely no idea on how to take a shower set out of the store. Common sense would tell someone not to place the large on top of the smaller portions of the set in the back of a truck. In the process of removing from the store, the two guys knocked over a lot of inventory and I was injured as well. We will definitely be avoiding this location from here on out.

Wed been going to Lowes and Home Depot, and while theres not really a difference between those two, this Menards stands apart. Its better lit, has way more stuff outside, AND they have groceries. Theres little enough time in the day, and knocking out home improvement shopping and some grocery shopping with one stop helps us out.

Took almost 15,min to get someone to help me. Store wasnt that busy. Walked up and down just trying to find someone that worked there. When I did he said he would be with me in a minute and walked away. I stood there for almost 15min waiting for him. Most aggravating part was just trying to find someone to help me.

Beware!!! Spent over 50k with Menards on a new house build. They delivered 10k worth of defective snap-lock metal roofing from Midwest Manufacturing, and they wont make it right. The metal is all wavy and is full of manufacturing defects. They wont accept any responsibility or stand behind the product.

Take a lesson from your competition and allow dogs in the store. Went across the street to spend a few thousand dollars after being yelled at by the angry woman guarding the door. Ill never return even if my buddy is not with me. At least try to be polite about turning down business in the future.

I STILL dont understand the store layout, (I doubt anyone does). But their prices are usually pretty good, and if you can find the right area, they probably have what youre looking for. Dont bother asking employees though, if you can even find someone....theyre just as lost as you.

For first timers, it is the place where you can buy almost anything. Just like walmart plus Lowes at a single place. Its cheap as well. Good as well. They have really good hardware parts that will be comparable with Lowes. All in one shoping.

Always a great experience. This visit I ordered a lumber delivery for my upcoming garage build and they delivered exactly where I asked and its very quality lumber at a great price. Lumber selection makes lowes/depot seem nonexistent.

Website listed a product that was kind of misleading. 3-piece grill heat vent is a single unit in 3 pieces, not a 3 pack. Otherwise I really enjoy shopping here. Always have what I am looking for.

I like Ace Hardware Best, then Menards because you can always find someone to help. I cant stand lowes because they never has enough floor support to help their customers.

The store would be ok if the people who works there were not that RUDE and not willing to help at all : unbelievable! Now I know when Im going to Lowes instead of Menards!

Pretty good store. Generally helpful folks with decent inventories. I like to browse around here and have picked up some good stuff over the years.

ordered online to pick up in store. It was a disorganized disaster with wrong items and missing items, all of which i was charged for.

If you know what you want and where you are going in the store, this is the place. If you need some help, eh, id suggest maybe another place

Your "plumbing McGyver", Al, at the Carmel/Westfield store came through for me again. The guy is gold. Dont ever lose him. :-)

Best selection of all of the big box home improvement stores. Prices are good if you can deal with in store credit rebates.

I would have given it 5 stars but the restroom was not clean. They have friendly associates and they are eager to help!
