I was so worried because I needed a high quality gingham fabric for a dress. I couldnt find the fabric at Jo-Anns, Hobby Lobby, or Michaels. I was to the point where I was ready to cut off the gingham part on the dress and restart with a cheaper, lighter blue gingham (pictured). BUT THEN, the lady at the counter of Hobby Lobby suggested trying A and E. I had my doubts since no other store in Pensacola or online had the shade I needed! I walked into A and E for the first time; the first impression is kind of scary since its more of a small shop in the front until you walk towards the back when you find .... an AMAZING world of fabrics!!!!! Literally rows upon rows upon rows of any fabric imaginable! I found the EXACT shade of gingham in the exact quality I needed and I couldnt be happier! I continued to walk around the store, awestruck by their selection. Any fabric you need, they WILL have it. I highly recommend this store, yall. I will be going back many times for my fabric needs!!!

This place is AMAZING. They have Amy Butler and Moda fabrics, just so many beautiful, incredible fabrics. They even have the Amy Butler oil cloth! They change up their sales often, so sometimes the bolts from different year collections will be 10%-50% off depending on the year (marked on the bolt on a circle sticker) or sometimes any fabric with a specific color for that week in it will be 20% off. They DO accept Joanns coupons, but only the kind clipped from the paper, not printed ones or ones on your phone, and it is only accepted for a cut of fabric (I think up to 4 yards but dont quote me) or one notion. They are surprisingly open to 7PM most days, but on Saturday are only open until 3PM, and they are closed on Sundays. Just call first to make sure I got that right, but definitely drop in! I love this store and the staff is so helpful and sweet! They offer quilting now, and quilting classes too I believe.

I own a quilting business and have been from Pensacola to New Jersey shopping for fabric, but ave never found a better selection of fabric and notions as great as A & E Fabric. Also, the staff go above and beyond to help you find everything you need with a smile. I have literally spent 6 hours shopping there, because of the wide selection and friendliness of the staff. This is a crafter and quilters paradise. Whenever I am visiting in Pensacola I MUST stop at A and E. It reminds me of an old 5 & dime store, with a pharmacy, but it has so much fabric to die for. I get so overwhelmed when I go in there because all of the fabrics are beautiful and I want them all!!!

This store is AMAZING!!!! It has a wide variety and selection of absolutely beautiful fabrics that will please the heart of any quilter or seamstress. The only downer to this store for me is the high prices.
