The wait for the cutting counter is always, always long. Organization is not their forte. One time you go and theyre taking numbers at the counter. The next time theyre not. Wait times at the registers can be long as well. I went to buy fabric back in April and two ladies at the cutting counter I asked help from with finding some fabrics I wasnt familiar with suggested I go to another store that had some of the suggested fabrics on the pattern envelope and half heartedly suggested some fabric that they had in the sportswear section that wasnt on the envelope but could be a suitable substitute. The fabric worked but I was disappointed in the rudeness and obvious show of the annoyance of helping a costumer.

I bought some White Hydrangeas a couple months ago to make wreaths for the church door for my daughters wedding. When I went back to get 10 more, the JoAnns in Providence did not have any since they were seasonal. I went out to JoAnn;s in Cool Springs and they only had a couple. Debra went out of her way, checking stores as far away as Maryland to get me the 10 that I needed to finish the project. Thanks so much Debra for going the extra mile. You are surely appreciated.

Line to pay for items was 20 customers long and stayed that way. Only 2 cashiers, neither of which were in any hurry to pleasantly and expeditiously move people. A manager acted put out to have to come up front to deal with some kind of return. He barked at one of the cashiers to move to another register. I mentioned something about the long line and she said nobody had it worse than her. Seriously; poorly staffed and and downtrodden attitude.

I needed a particular item and according to the stores online inventory there were several. I couldnt find the item or anyone to help me find it. I waited in line and asked the cashier if I could get some help but was told no because there wasnt enough staff to help customers find anything. Luckily for me Michaels was close by and the sales staff was more than happy to help me with my purchase.

The fabric section where you get fabric cut is ridiculous. Stood in line almost 30 minutes due to workers wanting to hold full conversations about nothing dealing with fabric. When I finally got to the counter the lady cut what I needed and didnt open her mouth not once. Slide my item across the counter and walked away. I will not be doing business with this particular JoAnns again!!

Save yourself the trouble and go to Michaels. Disappointed at the total lack of customer service, along with either items out-of-stock (for weeks) or broken merchandise every time I come in. Also, they dont seem to like honoring their own coupon policy. Kept trying to give them chances, but Im done.

Called three times today and was on hold for more than 30 min. and NEVER got a manager to answer. Was in the store earlier today with lines to have fabric cut were extremely long. The check out line had over 20 people in line. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. YOU NEED TO HIRE SOME PEOPLE.

Long lines with one register open. Over priced! Good luck finding someone to help and good luck getting a real answer or the product that you need. Id recommend hobby lobby over this crap place any day! Youll pay less, have help, and get through lines faster.

The store has a great selection of fabric, but the wait to cut a fabric/pay for it is just impossible! It took me an hour last time and it happens every time I go there! I think it is just because they do not have enough people working there!
