The store is usually adequately stocked, its also hardly ever congested with customers. I would do all of my shopping for all of my needs for craft supplies goes if it werent for being treated like a shoplifter when Im in the store! Two weeks ago was my last trip to this Michaels location. I couldnt even look at the acrylic paint selection because of being very bluntly watched by two employees in plain clothes. When a single brush is 19 dollars and a single paint choice is upwards of 20 dollars one likes to make sure the choice made in which one to buy is a good choice, but being hovered about and hearing the hovering two speak about you like your doing something wrong...thats just unacceptable.

Its really sad this is the only one for quite some distance. It is always a mess! I was a frequent michaels customer before I moved here. Now I cant shop without my husband because many times Ive wanted something that is out of stock on an easy to reach shelf but has plenty overstock on top shelf. Getting help is impossible! I had two employees go up and down a step ladder 5 ft from me so involoved with their private conversation about the passed holiday they didnt hear me and my husband ask for assistance. So he and another male customer got the items from the top shelf! Something needs to change!

I frequent all the area craft stores, and I would rank this one the lowest but for one thing: coupon policy. Although Joanns and Hobby Lobby are much cleaner, more organized, with more helpful staff, this Michaels has the most flexible coupon policy. They are willing to divide transactions to maximize your savings multiple times, which the other craft stores wont do. So, although it can be harder to find what youre looking for, you can get what you find more affordably.

Michaels is a arts & crafts store with a large selection of artificial flowers & greenery, a decent selection of yarn, a great framing studio and different classes. It is smaller than your typical Hobby Lobby but to my knowledge does not impose their religious beliefs onto their employees healthcare, so they will always get my business.

Its your average Michaels. I love the sales that they have! They often dont have that many people working though, so if you have a question you have to walk around for a while to find someone. Overall their sales are great and its a fine place to go pick up craft supplies that you need.

Was looking for a tall silk plant. There were 4, two and two the same. Asked for a decorative flower pot. Didnt have any. All they could show me were small terracotta pots . Also asked if I wanted to make my own arrangements, I would be out of luck for planter unless I wanted a basket.

Went for custom framing. Customer service rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of choices for matting and framing and they had a software program to preview finished product. Price was good and we even got a senior discount which we didnt know was available

Poor return policy. Packaging was the hard sealed plastic that has to be cut off. However they will only return product that is in original re-sellable condition.
