Praça com alguns cafés e vários artistas expondo sua obras. O ponto alto da praça são justamente esses artistas, pois suas sua são muito interessantes, com valores à altura das obras. Não espere encontrar pechinchas. Outro ponto interessantes é que a praça é rodeada de lojas de departamentos, a melhor opção para compra de roupas e acessórios.

#SFWiFi funktioniert fast gar nicht. Man muss sich an die umliegenden Starbucks oder den Macys hinstellen. Hier gibt es schon einige Obdachlose tagsueber. Stoeren einen als Tourist aber nicht, sprechen einen auch nicht an, wie anderswo. Also halb so schlimm. Lasst Ihnen einen Dollar da, wenn sie etwas Musik spielen oder so, dann bleibt das auch so ;)

Piuttosto anonima. Lo sguardo si perde nellosservare i numerosi magazzini e negozi di abbigliamento che la circondano. Alcuni caffè e tanta confusione dovuta ai bus turistici e agli imbonitori che la frequentano. Comunque vale la pena di sedersi e osservare il luogo e le persone che vi transitano. Molto pittoresca.

Part of SF history with nearby shopping, dining, and launching outward via bus or cable car. Occasional events, and surrounding architecture are easily match by the great people watching from this vantage point. Check out the trendy Apple store, the swanky St. Francis, or the high windows or balcony at one or more of the tall buildings. Macys womans store with its rooftop Cheesecake Factory has a view that I find exciting, but then fear of heights is pretty much in my top three fears... Actually, it is glassed in pretty well, so the view is great, but the vertigo is manageable.

Shopping district in downtown San Francisco. High-end stores at every turn. The park attracts tourist and locals. Slightly urban and a pigeon or two will fly close to people. Near BART station and the Powell Street cable car station is down the street. There is an underground parking garage across from Macys. Nice wine bars flank the square and provide outdoor seating. Great spot for people watching and taking in the cooler San Francisco temperatures in the summer.

Its ok..its a centric plaza with malls and nice shops around, but the plaza itself doesnt offer much. In Xmas time there is a skating ring but thats about it. They have some painted hearts around the square,which are usually the photo corner. At this time there were some construction going on so it wasnt super plesant. We went to one of the cafes on the plaza and the food was really expensive (around $18 for a sandwich and a quiche) but they tasted very good though.

Un sitio totalmente imprescindible para visitar. Por las mañanas se puede encontrar los típicos autobuses turísticos para realizar un tour por la ciudad. Desde Union Square se puede ir andando a Chinatown y seguir la ruta.

In downtown una piazza piuttosto anonima dalla quale partono i bus turistici per il giro della città. Nonostante sia una delle piazze principali fino dalla prima sera è molto mal frequentata.

So many high end stores surrounding Union Square to wander around in. Our hotel was very close to Union Square so we took advantage of the $36/per day parking underneath union square. Our hotel charged $68/day to park. The park had art displays the days we were there. There are friendly security guards walking around the park that assisted us when we were scouting out the parking situation.

Loads of fun happening here. Theres do much to see and experience. I personally enjoy all the different architectures that surrounded me. I also jumped on the second floor of the Big Red Bus and took a tour of the city before out next destination. SF also has beautiful hearts all around the City with unique art painted on them. So take some time for a quick Selfie lol.

This place is a shopper’s paradise if you have money to burn. There’s always a lot of people and a lot of energy here. There are high end stores, funky little restaurants, a Westfield mall, fine dining, trendy fast fashion stores, cable cars, street performers, and of course the square itself. Forget about parking here and go to a nearby garage.

Nice public square. Very popular with tourists. Upscale shopping, hotels, restraunts and more. Outdoor seating and cafes in square. Often live entertainment or events on weekends. Huge Macys dept store features prominently. Tiffanys and Apple store are some other standouts in the square. S.F. famous cable cars run alongside.

One of the main tourist location in San Francisco. Happening place with many great hotels and pubs in the sorroundings. Tourist gets their local guide buses. Amazing place to spot great buildings of Westin and Macys, cable cars n buildings at Geary street. Everytime I passed this place was tempted to take pics.

Union Square has a few places to grab a bite and glass of wine. There are always various live performances as well as art exhibits.The Angels Trumpet flowers cover the entire park with a pleasant aroma. Union Square hosts Santa Con in December along with an Ice Rink throughout the holiday season.

Great place for photos if you are a visitor to SFO. The cherry blossoms are currently blooming on 20th Mar h 2017. Apple Store is nearby and Macys is just across the road too. Lots of other big name outlets within short walk radius from Union Square.

for a top city, i have always felt that this gathering point city center could be improved as the lower quarter in front of Macys looks like it is unfinished. there are two cafés with drinks and food. at times of the year there are activities here.

Was AMAZING to see Union Square at night. Big Macys Flagship Store ,Saks Fifth Ave, Tiffany & Co, Levi Strauss,Louis Vuitton and many more. We took cable car from Ghirardelli to Union Square, the ride was too good with the downtown roads.!!

Its a big concrete park, but okay for taking a break while wandering through the shipping district. The coffee shops at either corner are good though, and theres one of those places where you can get discount "day of" theater tickets

Probably the MOST iconic of all San Francisco attractions (next to the Golden Gate), Union Square boasts everything Rodeo Drive offers, PLUS Cable Cars! Most definitely a sight to see as a tourist, and one to avoid as a local.

Nice spot to stop by in. Really just a big rectangle with a cafe. Not much to see. Youll occasionally find people pushing their charities or political agenda here. Most of the people there are just taking smoke/lunch breaks.

An awesome band with an international sound played beats in the Square for ALL to enjoy. I was alone (female) and felt safe. Tip:many of the light posts have electric outlets if you need to quick charge your phone.
