Its a fine utilitarian shopping center, lots of great stores, Ross, Safewsy, AutoZone, PetsCo, to name but a few.. Jamba Juice, Togos, Noahs bagels. Its greatest strength is plenty of parking, always! And Im not talking about every spot labeled compact.. no sir! Come ye Escalades, ye Tahoes, ye F350s.. you could all park in spots next to each other, but why bother when youve got the whole lot yourselves? I would give it 5 stars, but alas there is always a large cohort of seedy characters screaming incomprehensible manifestos, always a poor soul wandering about who reeks of excrement a mile away, always you have to walk the gauntlet of those in need of your "spare" money. <--- that is an oxymoron if Ive ever seen one. Nonetheless, i happily shop here and routinely lunch inside my car and give in to the sleepy tendrils of food coma and warm summer sun, not a care in the world for a running meter, much less an SFMTA jackal from hell in hot pursuit with $86 tickets... the guy parked two spots over IS shooting heron, but why would i stare? And who cares, he aint gonna bother me.

This Safeway is the only Safeway that still stays open late around the area. I would be given 5 stars if someone wouldve responded to the liquor button. I dont feel the consumer should be able to buy what they want to buy. They lost out on a higher sale all because no one wanted to come get liquor from the liquor cabinet. Even when I finally went to the line the cashier told me I needed to go wait by the liquor cabinet for someone to help me... lol must be a joke but just be ready for that disappointment closer to closing time

This mall has most of the shops that you would want... but man is it a crowded mess. Its the easiest place to go in the city if you want to find the chains. They have express, hollister, american eagle, etc, but there are so many tourists in here its usually hard to get around. They do, however, have a pretty decent food court with some options one doesnt usually see at a run-of-the-mill mall. The mall is also very clean and I love the look of the curvy escalators.

Safeway (a clean, well-stocked, fresh produce and decent butcher Safeway in the midst of The City) Pet Food Express, Daiso, (Japanese Dollar General) Sally Beauty, Office Max and Ross, Cross Dress for Less What more can one ask for from the gods of strip malls? Potrero Center is a charming little bit of mainstream Merica right here in our egalitarian and franchise-adverse Gotham aka San Francisco. Easy transit served by MUNI lines 22, 27, 33, 47 and the 9.

It is conveniently located on 16th Street, and is serviced by four different Muni bus routes. But also because there is a Safeway supermarket in the heart of the center. Since changing opening hours - again, it is now the only retailer open for business at five am. Unfortunately some of the security guards, with different companies have differences on policy for dealing with homeless persons. As certain guards are rather hostile and not nice.

Five stars for this shopping center but when you add in the people who goes here it gets a one star. Dont leave anything valuable in ur car. Watch out while parking, people like to walk in front or in back of you in hope you LL bump into them. The fact you have to deal with people like this keeps me away. Parking lot smells like a toilet, actually it is a toilet cause you LL see people doing number 1 & 2 right in front of u.

This is a example of a place where you dont want to go unless you absolutely need to get last minute supplies. Security guards in the parking lot are not helpful. I watched the security guards watch a hobo break into someones car and not do anything about it. Also watched two hit and run incidents, which security witnessed, but did not do anything. If you want to be potentially victimized go ahead and visit this place.

Great friendly employees, working hard, and ready to help whenever there needed, my only concern was about the security guards, on duty that day. They seemed to be more interested in personal chatting with each other, and taking frequent smoke breaks then catching the shoplifter who myself and my family witnessed taking several items, and put them on his person, then left as fast as he entered.!

Messy, full of rats and rats with wings, usually has incoherent vagrants at the outdoor tables, zero atmosphere. Half the items in the Safeway are locked up and youll wait minutes for someone to unlock them. Its an awful mid-size shopping center with an uninspiring collection of fast food chains. The only pluses: it has good public bus access and I Luv Teriyaki & Sushi is pretty good.

I like some of the stories in the center but people are really aggressive with parking and there are lots of homeless around and they will harass you. But other than that its a pretty decent Center. I love that they have Ross, AAA cent, Boston Market, Peets Coffee, Petco, Jamba Juice, Noahs Bagel and a little cute Japanese store with all sorts of things for cheap its a steal!

Great shopping center including massive Safeway, PetCo, Ross, Party City and Daiso stores, and some smaller shops including Peets, Smartburger, Jamba, and a Vitamin Express that stocks a lot of items otherwise hard to find in a brick-and-mortar setting. Sometimes outside Safeway and in the parking lot you will find unsavory characters especially at night.

This place has a Jamba Juice, a Peets, and a Safeway. Great spot to pick up everything you need! I go on Saturday mornings and parking is great. I love being able to beat the line at Safeway, then go and get my morning coffee at Peets. I will say this though - the Safeway can get very crowded. There are times Im in line for 20 minutes.

I would avoid this center if there are other options available. There arent that many stores, let alone good ones. The place is overrun with homeless and drug addicts. The parking lots have super tight spaces and is covered in trash. Its not easy to get in and out of the parking lots. And, it seems to get worse every time I go there.

Did you know, this place used to be an auto mall? And before that, the Seal Stadium, home of the SF Seals before they moved to Pier 39 to entertain tourists. If you mosey behind the mall, youll gain insight into the green Franciscan rock of Potrero hill before it got leveled. And you thought Potrero Hill was never higher...

I like the Safeway, I ❤ Tererkyi, 24hour Fitness and Jamba juice, nothing else is worth mentioning.. the Ross is like an upscale Goodwilll, dont waste your time. Parking is great. Too many dogs and people have their dogs inside the shopping carts!!!! So gross. So in my opinion more shops and less dogs please.
