Forget the ticket validation. Dont be lured to park here because of that. The establishments will just tell you they ran out of validation stickers. You end up buying from the establishments and still pay the full parking rates. I kept the purchase receipts to serve as proof when paying at the exit booth instead of the self automated pay. Hoping that the attendant would give me the validation credit by showing the receipt from Starbucks. The attendant on duty (11/28/15 6:30pm Fire this guy!) was not helpful... His only respond, the machine needs the stickers to be read and given the credit due. I informed him that the establishments I went to - Starbucks, Auntie Annes have ran out of stickers. I asked why wont you guys provide sufficient number of stickers to all the establishments.... I then found out that the establishments themselves have to purchase the stickers from the parking place which they then would give to the customers. Well, why would the establishments have to buy if its easier to say to the customers that they ran out of it. This way they dont have to spend money to buy the parking validation...cuts overhead costs at the same time they get this influx of customers buying their products which they will then say they ran out of stickers. Forget this place... Just go to Pier 39 public parking.

Im a Hyatt employee and work just a block and a half away from the Anchorage Garage in San Francisco, CA. All Hyatt employees get discounted rate of $8.00 per day at the Anchorage Garage which we pay by cash upon leaving the garage. On January 13th, 2010 between 11:15pm and 11:45pm, I was at the Anchorage Garage picking up my car after work. But, there was no one there at the booth to accept cash payment. Also, the number posted at the booth to call security had just been changed but the old number was still posted therefore I couldnt contact the security person to come to the booth and assist me. The management had not posted the new contact number yet which left me with only one option. Finally, after waiting almost 30mins, I had no choice but to use my Credit Card in the automatic machine and pay the regular price of $32.00. Later, I contacted the Operational Manager of Anchorage Garage Mr. Yasir Hussen who promised me to reimburse the amount by giving me three complimentary parking, each worth $8.00. He asked me to call him on his cell phone whenever Im ready to pickup the car and he would give me complimentary parking. Although, Mr. Hussen did give me complimentary parking only one time, he failed to answer and reply several calls afterwards. This is very frustrating and time consuming for me.

Exorbitant parking rate and MISLEADING brochure. As a tourist, its my second time visiting fishermans wharf. I brought my friends and want to show them the beauty of this city. After i park here, I try to validate the ticket but the stores i went to -- walgreens is closed, starbucks no longer provide validation service! WHAT A WASTE TIME! We couldnt enjoy the view of this city and have to spend the hour getting around validating our ticket. Disappointed!!!!!

At $12 an hour, its pretty expensive for parking, even near Fishermans Wharf and Ghirardelli Square. They do take off an hour for validation from the local businesses though. The max is $40 daily. We went on a Sunday afternoon/evening, and it wasnt too packed. Not very clean looking, but most parking lots arent, I guess.

Great place to walk around. Located across the street from Fisherman Wharf and you have the cable cars that pass by there as well for easy transportation and very affordable. Theres multiple spores fast food and restaurants. Come check it out you will enjoy it.

In-and-Out Burger nice for lunch (though a little pricier than other locations), Segway tour rentals (didnt do), just walked past along storefronts. Area must be more convenient experience for guests at the Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco, attached.

Bad experience at this parking garage, when we arrive the flat rate was $32.00, so today 12/22 I checking my bank account and they charge twice $38.00 instead of $32.00 and no way to contact someone at this parking garage, very disappoint

Great tourist destination, great food, great sights. Its a bit pricier than surrounding areas because of its trendy reputation, but I say its worth it for the experience. Also, amazing PokémonGo location, tons of water spawn.

FEESH ... this is the perfect place to spot if you go fishing on the charter fishing boats like Lovely Martha at San Francisco fishermans wharf ! Ask your boat captain about a parking voucher, some offer it, some dont ...

Overall a tourist trap all together. A few gems here to check out but mostly everything is overpriced and it will get crowded quick. Check it out if youve never been but in all honestly Im not the biggest fan of the area.

Way too expensive for parking and horrible facilities, elevators dont work and my mom has sciatica! Nasty surprise to be charged 50us for 5 hour parking... Im not repeating that mistake again.

Oh my goodness it was so busy here but it is a metropolitan city. Lots of shopping, people and food. Gotta drive around for reasonable parking. It can be costly to park.
