Came to San Diego for a week to visit friends stationed at navy base. Coming in from central Texas. First day in town had to get adult beverages. This place was right next to navy housing. Go inside and it was like my wife and I had been transported back to Austin. Reminded us of Specs. As big as a grocery store without all the ankle biters and the smell of produce. After a few minutes looking around I asked one of the employees where we could find Malibu rum. Another couple minutes later, asked for Rumchata, then, a local Austin favorite of ours, Austin East Cider. The guy who helped us was extremely patient and knew the store and inventory like the back of his hand. Went back a few days later for more refreshments and had a similar experience with a different group of staff members. Ending up getting the frequent alchy card (instant member savings on first purchase). Absolutely fantastic service (considering its California)

My boyfriend and I were in the store a week ago on a Sunday and Valarie helped us to find half a dozen items. My boyfriend has a bar in his home and is very knowledgeable about liquor. She went out of her way to answer all his questions, search out items he wanted and called another store to get what they did not have. We were so impressed by her knowledge and customer service that we just had to let you know what an amazing employee you have!

sadly my husband is a regular customer at this location, I went in for change and they were so rude about it. I had to buy a dollar lime in order to get change. Poor customer service... because of this my husband will now go else where.

Great selection and there was a "whiskey flavor" sample tasting. Ive bought expired beer at Bev Mo before, which was not awesome. Hopefully these guys stay on top of that.
